Chapter 18

Queen Kim Jungkook is going through another hectic day handling the issues of the kingdom , assuring the concerned people that their king will be fine soon , embracing his babies in his warm arms to provide the comfort they are missing from their father and requesting his husband silently to get up soon .

He is again going to the garden at the night time to talk to the sky filled with stars and let the sorrows and insecurities that are clouding his mind out so that he can at least have a peaceful sleep in his husband's arms .

Jungkook sighs as he stands in the middle of the garden looking at the sky ahead that looks like someone went up and painted the whole sky in a mixture of red and black shades with little twinkling stars spread here and there .

Jungkook embraces himself as small tears start forming in his eyes . It is his daily routine now to come and shed his tears in front of the moon and the stars before going to sleep .

He is in his own world ready to shed the desired yet unwanted tears out of his eyes when he feels a pair of arms wrapping themselves around his waist followed by a chin being placed on his shoulder . The person nuzzles his nose in jungkook's neck making him shiver .

His body is well aware of that particular touch but his mind is refusing to believe what he wants right now . Maybe he is just hallucinating . To confirm his doubts , he turns around and his breath literally gets stuck in his throat . There is standing his husband , his king , Kim taehyung is smiling at him while waving his hand .

Jungkook feels like crying , his husband is awake after a week and he can't even describe his feelings right now . He smiles at him while he lets his body fall on his husband crashing him in a hug that makes taehyung stumble back but nonetheless smile as he hugs his baby in his warm arms letting him cry on his shoulder.

Missed me ? Taehyung mumbles hugging his baby more tightly while running his back to soothe him from crying .

Are you stupid ? Who takes this much time to recover ? Do you even know how sad I was ? How much I missed you ? How can you do this to me taehyung , how can you ? Jungkook cries out making taehyung chuckle lightly . He really does love this boy a lot .

I know I know everything boo , I am really sorry for making you sad my love , he says as he pulls the boy away a bit and kisses his forehead lovingly . Jungkook again engulfs him in a hug , this time having his head directly on taehyung's heart hearing his heart beat at a normal pace now .

I love you so much , please don't do this to me again , he mumbles and taehyung again kisses his head as he says ,

I will never boo ,he says and they stay like that for a while .Soon after jungkook pulls out of the hug and looks at taehyung seriously while saying ,

I-I don't know where to start but I am really really sorry for whatever happened in the past days . It was me because of whom you were in that state for a week . It was me because of whom our babies had to face that situation , it was all because of me , I am really sorry , he mumbles looking down still in taehyung's arms who is holding him from his waist .

If you ask taehyung what he is seeing in jungkook right now , he will reply that he is seeing pure innocence and cuteness on his baby boo's whole face .The thought makes taehyung smile .

He cups his baby's face in his palms and softly pecks his lips , interrupting his blabber as he says ,

I know what you did was for our kids' wellbeing and I can never blame you for that so stop blaming yourself and give me my kiss . I missed those lips of yours a lot , taehyung says making pouty faces to jungkook who himself pouts while crossing his arms over his chest and looking away making taehyung coo internally .

Com'on boo , you didn't kiss me once when I was asleep , you are getting unromantic day by day , taehyung complains and jungkook huffs . He sighs and turns towards him again before saying ,

You are unbelievable hyung , he says while he smashes his lips on taehyung's making him smile at his victory .

Taehyung pulls Jungkook closer , if that was even possible , and kisses him back with the same passion . The passion that was missing , the closeness that was missing , the intimacy that was missing making its way back in between them as they make the air leave from their lungs as well as from in between them .

The moment their chests meet , the moonstone that is kept in that locker of theirs starts glowing grey , making the inside of the wardrobe shine . Soon , a thin layer of grey light spreads across the whole kingdom making the air shake . That is the moment the moonstone shielded the whole kingdom with its powers , the powers that broke the limit of Queen's misfortune period .

Taehyung and jungkook pulls away from each other unaware of the impact their kiss had . They slowly open their eyes and smile at each other . Jungkook feels something on his chest and he looks down to see his mate mark glowing . He looks up at taehyung and sees that his mark is glowing too .

They both know that now their love , their bond , which was unbeatable before is now untouchable . Now , not any kind of force can break through the shields they created around each other . The whole moment is just so magical to even blink an eye with a fear that you will miss a glimpse .

They both connect their foreheads while closing their shining red and blue eyes as they both mumble simultaneously , chuckling afterwards .

The rest of half of the night they both spend sitting on the grass in each other's embrace and then they go to sleep as they have an important guest , to deal with , tomorrow .
