Chapter Five ~ A Mission!? Already!??

I lie awake in what was now my room, on a smaller type bed with decently comfortable sheets, I pondered 'what made them come recruit me so fast and aren't they supposed to be capturing Jinchuriki?' not expecting a response you can guess what happened next "it is weird, maybe they needed the extra man power?" Kurama spoke startling me a bit, 'maybe, sorry for waking you Kura-' I spoke to the fox "no its fine, just keep an eye out, and get some sleep kid." Kurama spoke 'fine fine' I spoke closing my eyes and falling into a dream world.

awoken the next day by a loud knock on the door to the room I was staying in, I groaned and groggily stood up "whaat-" I tiredly spoke "its me Itachi, Naruto I was told that Lord Pain needs to see you, get ready and go to his office" the now idendtified Itachi Uchiha spoke "sure thing" I woke up throwing on my outfit which consisted of, Black Anbu Pants A black undershirt, and my Akatsuki robe, which wasn't just a normal robe, it was patterened with what seemed to be Nine-Tails on the back and little designs here and there, the cloud was pretty much the same too, anyway I threw on my black leather fingerless gloves and threw on my etched out Leaf headband and I walked out stumbling to put on my sandals, I got greeted by other Akatsuki members while walking through the corridors of the Akatsuki hideout.

I eventually made it to Pains office knocking and waiting for a response "come on in" his voice sounded from the otherside of the door making me know to walk in, I opened the big wooden door and was greeted by no other than Tobi and Pain "Naruto." Pain's voice caught my attention "Tobi here will be your temporary partner for this mission im about to send you on" Pain spoke pretty mono-tone "yes Lord Pai- wait.. Already!?" I yelled the end part "is there a problem Naruto?" "n-no!" I lied making him chuckle "anyway you will lead this mission going out and Tobi is to just be back-up incase anything goes wrong" Pain spoke "OooOOO Naruto! Im excited to get to work with you!" he looked glaring at me slightly with his one visible eye "yeah same here" I gave a cheeky smile his way before looking back at Pain "and this mission is about what?" I asked "you're going to infultrate and scout out the hidden leaf village do NOT get caught." he threatened "now remember you're only going in scouting it out and leaving, do not hurt anyone unless they attack you first." "right" I spoke looking at 'Tobi' "let us go 'Tobi'" I emphasized the Tobi seemingly triggering him "get going" Pain spoke shooing us out.

"hey Obito" I looked him in the eye "what Naruto?" He responded this time less child-ish looking away toward the exit of the hideout "nice to work with you" I smiled at him while exiting the hideout and resealing it before leaving "..." he didn't respond he just kept walking slightly behind me "im so excited! GaHh!" 'Tobi' put back on his act while we walked out "if you're going to keep that act up then let me do the talking" I laughed at his frown toward me "oh come oNnnN" he looked at me again making me laugh yet again "lets just get to the village in a timely manner" I spoke making him nod, we started running at pretty high speeds through the forest not expecting..

Kakashi POV

'Naruto I will save you.' I thought leaving with my team which consisted of Anko Mitarashi, Tenzo, and Guy. we starting running through forest trails not wasting time to get to the estimated zone where Naruto was last seen.

after awhile we finally reached that spot splitting up to look around "Anko take the North" so an so, after a bit I finally took of toward the east from that small clearing I found, I sensed a nearby chakra one was unknown but felt familiar? the other was definantly Naruto "Naruto" I spoke quietly looking toward the quickly approching chakras I decided to wait on a branch nearby, as I felt the chakra's getting closer I braced myself using my own chakra to draw in my comrades attention "so then I-" I heard the voice stop, Naruto looked at me stopping on a branch that was pretty close to me making his masked teammate run into a tree "NarutOooO why did we-" the masked figure looked at me "Kakashi Hatake!? im a big fan!" The masked figure yelled "Tobi cut it out-" Naruto sweatdropped 'Tobi?' I thought "anyway Kakashi what are you doing here?" Naruto asked bracing for battle letting me know he wasn't coming with us easily "bringing you home" I spoke looking at him hands shaking ever so slightly "im not going back, that place was hell." he spoke making me look at him pretty pissed off "Naruto, even the Hokage misses you. Come back." I spoke masking my anger.

After a minute of staring he vanished in a cloud of red smoke with his team member "damnit" I looked toward where they vanished, feeling my team members finally approach I took off 'was he headed toward the Leaf village?' I thought to myself while running back toward Konoha.

Naruto POV

after I got away from Kakashi I walked on the trail still in my Akatsuki robe same with 'Tobi' I put the straw hat that I was told to wear and walked into the village only hoping my eyes were covered by the shade coming from the hat Tobi didn't really care he had a mask on but he put the hat on anyway to look less suspisious, I walked into Ichiraku Ramen shop "this place is the best" I drooled slightly smelling the smell of ramen "didn't you just say you hated this place?" Tobi spoke goofily "yeah but not this ramen" I spoke ordering some ramen "you dont look familiar, you guys new?" some random Shinobi in the shop looked at us "yes we are, though we are just traveling through here for today" I spoke looking at the Shinobi "hm" the Shinobi started thinking "heres your ramen" Teuchi smiled handing the ramen to us "thank you o-" I stopped myself from saying the last part "yeah thank you!" Tobi put on his goofy act again "now how do I-" he looked at the ramen "this will do" he spoke eating it through his mask "eh-" I looked at him concerned "eh?" he asked giving me a questioning look "you know what nevermind" I looked down digging into the best ramen I've had in so long "this was always the best ramen" I smiled "always?" some random genin who was in the shop looked at me "eh- ignore me" I looked down then back up setting some money on the counter to cover me and Tobi's bill.

We walked out onto the busy streets of the Konoha Village "this place seems much more peaceful since im gone" I looked around hearing the occasional mutters about "the cloaked figures" I looked up a bit looking toward the Hokage rocks seeing that The Third was still in office, "I sorta miss this place" I spoke towards 'Tobi' "this place hasn't changed much since I used to be here "Ah you're forgetting why we're here" I spoke "you too!" his act reappeared and he spoke all goofy like "well, we made it this far in" I spoke looking toward a busy Barbeque place, which held a genin team "ah look at that!" Tobi whisper yelled making me look at Kakashi and his team infront of us "they haven't noticed us yet, duck into the alleyway!" I looked toward the nearest alleyway "right!" 'Tobi' disappeared into the ground appearing in the alleyway, making me also teleport into the alleyway, Kakashi quickly turned around probably hearing the quiet poof behind him "you good Kakashi?" Anko spoke "thought I heard something, now quick we dont have much time" "right!" Kakashi's team spoke running toward the Hokage Tower 'do they know we're here?' I asked myself "if I were to guess, they don't know you're here, but they know you're coming here" Kurama added "right." I whispered getting Tobi's attention "hm?" he asked "nothing, but they know we are gonna be here "well shit." Tobi spoke disappearing into the ground making me turn around and see The Hokage and a group of Anbu "catch me if you can old man" I stuck my tounge out vanishing into thin air "wha-" he spoke dumbfounded but realized what just happened sending Anbu out to get me "losers" I stuck my tounge out yet again running on roof tops attempting not to get spotted by the many Anbu searching for me and Tobi.

woAH I actually got this done in two days, I actually had 1000+ words yesterday but I added like 300 more words today :) enjoy :)
