3rd POV

After many "I Do's" from both parties, they shared a gentle kiss whilst hugging eachother as the crowd clapped and cheered.

Most didn't even realize that they were at a gay wedding. Even when one of the two would remind someone that Miss Secondopinionson was in fact, a girl, her voice and appearance them think otherwise.

After the service, Joe looked around and saw Orel already talking with Christina. Seeing them together always made him scoff in disapproval. Joe didn't even know why he cared, it just frustrated him.

His father soon stomped over and pulled the two apart, scolding his son for associating with a Posabule. "As soon as we get home, we're going to my study, young man," Clay spat, prompting Orel to gulp in response. The boy shamefully looked to the side as he waited for his parents to finish their conversation with the other guests.

"Hi, Joe," he swivled his head to see Miss Secondopinionson in her long, sparkly white dress that went to her ankles. "Your horns look extravagant today. Did you polish them?"

"Erm, thanks. Mom made me. Congratulations," She did a shy curtsey at his comment, and clasped her hands to her chest. "So, how has school been? I'm sure there's many pretty girls that are all over you, hm?" Joe blushed, knowing that he was the wrong candidate for female attention. Most girls at his school thought he was rude, but he was mostly to blame for that. Joe just never felt the need to "prove himself" to any brat.

"Nah, girls are weird," Joe chuckled, fidgeting with the end of his tie. She seemed so much more content ever since she started to date, and he was genuinely supportive of her. How could love make a person so happy?, Joe wondered.

Miss Secondopinionson nodded, tucking her hands behind her back. "Well, Im sure one day you'll find someone, maybe even when you least expect it. I would've never thought to marry someone like Evie all those years ago, but look at us now!" She laughed at her own joke, visually proving to be more giddy than Joe had ever seen.

"Um," Joe paused. "So, how did you get Evie to like you?" Her face lit up at Joe's sudden interest in her relationship. "Ah, I wasn't the one that initiated any of that, Evie was always coming up and talking to me! Giving me compliments, gifts, just sweet stuff. I'm surprised I didn't scare her away with how shy I was,"

After a few more minutes of small talk with his half-sister, Nursula came over and guided Joe to her car to take him home.

-Monday

Orel took his seat exactly 10 minutes before class started to catch up on some work. He usually arrived much earlier than this, but this weekends beating proved to be a promising recipe for a deep sleep that would cause him to sleep in. Or, he would just be busy talking to Doughy before school. It was always one of the two.

One of his wings was in bad shape, but its not like he could hide it. All he could do was pretent that everything was normal.

He noticed Joe walking in a few minutes later, confusing Orel. Joe was never early, not like this. In fact, he was always late.

They locked eyes for a brief second, but Orel was the one to break it as he shook his head and tried to focus on his schoolwork.

Joe had on a worn black hoodie, baggy washed-out jeans, and sturdy boots that made a faint stomping sound when Joe walked around in them. He slumped into his chair and put his feet on the table, looking away from Orel.

"Thanks for the warm welcome," Joe snorted sarcastically. "Sorry, um, just focused. I'm sorry I ma-," Joe interrupted him. "Its fine, dork. I'm just playing with you,"

Orel itched the back his neck. "Erm, I didn't get the chance to talk to your sister on Saturday, is she doing alright?"

"Half-sister," the boy corrected him. "She's fine. Evie is cool," Joe turned to look at Orel for the first time today, and noticed his left wing was slightly bent, and had feathers missing in a few spots. "Did'ja get in a fight, Puppington?"

Orel raised his brow at Joe's strange comment, but then had realization hit him. He was talking about his wing. "Oh..! I just, um, fell down the stairs, heh,"

"Really?", Joe responded, mocking his obvious lie.

'...gifts, compliments, just sweet stuff,' Miss Secondopinionsons words fluttered in Joe's head, her voice louder than any of his other thoughts.

"I mean, they're still pretty lookin'. I guess," Orel put a hand over his mouth and smiled wide, snickering. "Thank you, Joe. I like your wings, too,"

"Well aren't you just so sweet, shorty," Joe scrunched his nose, narrowed his eyebrows, and stuck out his tongue at Orel, causing him to erupt into a fit of giggles.

Joe shushed Orel to get his attention, and brought his feet back to the floor. "Yknow, if you'd like, my mom is a nurse and she could maybe help you. I'll just have to drive you to my house after school," Orel blushed a deep pink, and gave Joe a meaningful expression. "Thats so nice of you, Joe. I hope you don't mind,"

"Yea, well don't take it for granted," Joe grabbed Orels notebook and pen, quickly scribbling down a series of numbers. "Just call me when your ready. You've got a phone, right?" Orel nodded, rubbing the side of his arm. More students began to file into the classroom, suggesting that class was starting soon.

"Dont keep me waiting,"

final part will (hopefully) be after this,, then I can finish everything else that I've started in this book *_*
