Quackity [Angst]

Quick warning: Alex is Quackity's real name so I'll be using it bc you guys are good friends so normally you address him by his real name not his internet name but sometime you'd say 'Quackity' on streams or so

You and Alex have been good online friends, you guys have never met in real life but you guys have seen each others faces before.

As you guys both grow up you started to have feelings for Alex but you were unsure about Quackity's feelings...
"Alex" you said talking on your phone "yeah?" He replied back "so how's law school?" You asked "it's been going great! I also met this one super nice girl there" you felt as your happiness went down "Oh tell me more about her..." you asked him about this girl he's been seeing at law school "Sure, she got long brown hair that is half way on her back, she's got good style she mostly wears something so casual which is nice...." you ignored whatever Quackity described about her because really, you didn't want to hear anything about this 'girl'.

"Hm, maybe you should tell her about me sometimes y'know?" You said chuckling it off "hmm sure, good night Y/n" quackity said "Good nigh-" but before you could get to say it he hangs up and you just feeling hopeless.

"I want you to hang out with me, not with her" you sighed turning off your phone then going straight to bed "It's no use, your too far from him maybe he'll make a better girlfriend in person than online..." Then a tear felt like coming out "I'm never worth Alex's time..." you crack your voice as more tears fall down "I love you Alexis..." you said softly then drifting to sleep.

As every days go by you and Alex rarely talk  and the only time you guys get to talk to each other is when you say 'good morning' or 'good night' or whenever you can but it would always be cut off.

"Yeah, I so I just told her the proper way on how to say it" you laughed talking to Alex 'finally we get to talk together' you smile behind the camera "Hey Alexis, we finished making dinner come eat!" A girl with long beautiful brown hair came in the room "Oh, are you talking to your friend?" She said then waving back from the distance "I'm [girl's name?], nice to meet you I work along with Alex here" she smiled "Oh...I'm Y/n, I met Alex online and we've been friends since we were 14" you said "Oh cool, so um Alex just come down whenever your done" the girl said but before she could Alex said "Oh no, we're not busy we were about to just hang up" Alex grabs his phone and ended the call "Ugh, this is stupid" you throw your phone down and lay your head down on your bed then you stomp your feet up and down "ugghhhh! GOD I WISH SHE WASN'T WITH HIM ALL THE TIME" you yelled in your pillow "I mind as well offer him the 'silent' treatment" This 'silent' treament you use is usually used on people that you liked or that made you feel bad about yourself, so you don't talk to them for a long while until then. You were really good with it because you used it a lot while growing up.

As months pass by You and Quackity stoped even texting each other, Quackity tried to send you things that were funny so you would talk back to him or he would try to make you mad or make himself sad so you'd talk to him but obviously you were mad before and still were. You looked back at old messages from when you and Quackity talked and the last time was 3 months ago, you didn't expect that he would last that long in the silent treatment.

Just as your looking back at old messages a tweet pops up and you clicked on it so see that same girl from before was kissing Alex's cheek like some couple and they were. That brung your attention to him as his caption reads 'I got myself a real Gf now, Y/n mad much?' Oh yeah you were mad but you felt sad mostly because you loved him You cared for him only for him but he has a girlfriend now, you wished that you met him before she did so maybe then, you could've asked him to be your boyfriend but you always chicken out because of your shyness.

You hated everything about yourself, you hated how you were always to scared to give something to someone then it'll be too late or how you froze there in place whenever someone talked to you or how you promised but your always late...no matter what, your life is ruined anyways.

That morning you woke up, took a shower, brushed your hair and teeth, ate breakfast, went to school, went to work, and by the end you were tired. You were too tired to the point where you didn't even had time to check on your phone. So you did and looked on all your social media's then when you went to your messages you had a lot of messages and they were all from Quackity, your best friend.

Quackity's pov

I was in school doing my work along side with my law partner. After all that learning I went home and did some more work, I was busy all day I didn't even check my phone! Maybe I'll call y/n I hope she's doing okay.

I went to call her today many times but it always went to her voice mail, I wonder what's up with her?
I went to my calls but I found that she tried calling me a lot of times around 12, like the time I was at school, I also then went to my voice mail and there at the very top was y/n's. It's very rare for me to get voice calls. I clicked on her voice mail she sent.

"Hi Alex! I couldn't reach you today but when you do have the chance to hear me I hope you listen carefully. I won't be with you long anymore and that's made from my decision so don't feel sorry about it okay? I hope you are doing good in law school it's been your dream and I remember when we were younger you would always talk about being a lawyer because you thought it would've been funny to be one and now you're gonna be one! After you graduate of course! I really want to stay with you for long but I am giving up my chances to be with you for you to be with someone else, someone who will take care of you when you are all alone, when you don't have much things to do, and for you to take on a date and maybe get marry... Well so on, this is our good bye I guess, ah...sh¡t I'm crying, um, anyways Alexis, I mostly want you to know is that...I...Love you. I have always loved you since we started to hang out more, I just wished I could've met you sooner." I was speechless. She loved me? Didn't I knew? Why didn't I knew? I am so glad that she finally came to me and told me! But...she said she was gonna leave. Doesn't she know that I loved her too? Oh...
I wonder why...
She must thinks I like my partner.
