( third person - at lorelai's house )

Sydney looked at her phone shocked that lorelai hung up.

" I know she didn't just- " Sydney said and sat her phone down.

" Well you heard folks- she's on the way " Vanessa said looking at everyone.

No literally everyone was there..

" and when she gets back you'll apologize " Kylie said to Veronica.

" yeah! don't be mean to mommy " Kaliyah said and they agreed.

Everybody looked at Kaliyah and she went back to playing with the other girls.

A/N: time skip to when she gets there.

Lorelai slowly got out of the car and the guard grabbed her crutches for her.

" thank you " she said as she grabbed them.

She followed behind the guard and eventually reached the door.

" Fuck these crutches " she said aloud.

The guard opened the door and she came in with crutches.

They looked towards the door that was opened and Sydney walked to the door.

" what happened to you?? " Sydney asked which got everyone's attention.

In waltzed Lorelai with crutches.

( Lorelai's POV )

" Isn't it weird that I always get shot when y'all are around " I said looking at my family and scoffed.

" Shot? Wait- "

" To answer your questions- I got shot when that whole thing went down and I've been in the hospital since " I said with a fake smile.

" Why didn't you tell us? We would've been there with you! "

" I didn't want anyone there " I said and it went silent.

" Where are the girls? " I asked them.

" Living room " Natalie said and i nodded.

" this pain medicine is really starting to wear off " I said putting the crutches down.

I went to walk but I couldn't move my leg.

Oh so this why I have to go to fucking physical therapy.

" what's wrong? "

" are you okay? " Natalie and Aurora said at the same time.

" Um yeah " I said and looked for the nearest person.

I looked down at my thigh and tried to move my leg but I couldn't.

The guard came in with the wheelchair and I groaned.

" I am not going around in that thing " I said seriously.

" the nurse said you have to " he said and I shook my head no.

" you can't even move because if you could've- you would've already " he said and I glared at him.

" I'll let it slide " I said and he brought it to me.

I just don't know who he thinks he's talking to.

I sat in it and sighed.

" Changed my mind- this think is comfortable and I need to talk to you two " I said the last part looking towards Sydney and Vanessa.
