As promised, Chifuyu watched Y/n's back to and from school and work, Kazutora did the same for Kiseki whenever Baji wasn't able to go get him. The first time he had gone to pick up Kiseki, Hashi- san was very reluctant to let him go until Kiseki ran into Kazutoras arms and swore that he was his uncle. Takemichi returned to the past within the next day after his conversation with Chifuyu in the park. He immediately called him to tell him what he had learned. "The reports say that Baji- kun had found the place where Kiseki was taken." he started

"So that must mean Kisaki left some kind of clue?" Chifuyu added on. Takemichi hummed and nodded

"But it also mentioned that though Kiseki was unharmed save for a few scratches here and there, Baji- kun was shot dead in the head on December 25th..." Takemichi continued, reluctantly.

"What?!" Chifuyu yelled, loud even for Takemichi to hold the phone away from his ear and still hear him. "We can't let that happen." determination filled Chifuyu's voice. Whenever Takemichi wasn't busy helping Baji come up with a plan of action, he was with Chifuyu, coming up with a plan to keep everyone alive.

"For starters, Kiseki will be taken on the 15th. We have to keep a lookout on that day." Takemichi said as he wrote something on a board in his room. Chifuyu sat cross legged on his bed.

"You also said that Y/n will be assaulted, one of us should stay with her too..." Chifuyu seemed conflicted. They needed to protect the both of them, but neither of them could be in two places at once, and top priority was that nothing happens to Kiseki.

"I have an idea, the 15th is Y/n's day off isn't it? How about we get someone to go out with her? Preoccupy her maybe." Takemichi suggested.

"Someone who can protect her while we look out for Kiseki... " Chifuyu grumbles in thought, Baji still has to maintain the pet shop, he can't just leave it to Touma. Suddenly an idea pops into his head. "I'm sure Mikey and draken- kun will be happy to keep her company on her day off. Mikey's always said to us that since Kiseki was born and she started going to college and work has been too busy to hang out. There's no way he'll pass this opportunity!" Chifuyu's revelation was a smart one but how would they get Y/n to agree to go out with them?

"If Mikey knows she's free wouldn't he just show up and drag her along anyway?" Takemichi says while breaking a cold sweat. Chifuyu smiles as if to say, good idea. They call Mikey and tell him about it. "I heard Y/n is going to be free this friday, didn't you say you wanted to go out with her and Draken?" Chifuyu said. Now all that was left to figure out was how to watch Kiseki at school

The day the two of them have been dreading has come, December 15. Just as planned, Mikey and Draken took Y/n on an outing to shop all over downtown where the city was bustling with tourists and couples. They had informed Baji just a bit on the plan, Y/n would be protected by the two leaders, and Kiseki would be watched from a safe distance. Chifuyu and Takemichi even talked to Takahashi- san and she agreed to let them both sit in and watch the class for the day. Kiseki was very excited to show off his uncles to his friends. "Look! Uncle Fuyu has an earring!" He pointed to Chifuyu's ear and the kids stared in awe. All the kids swarmed him, especially the girls.

"Did it hurt when you got it?" one asked him.

"Of course not! A little hole can't hurt my Uncle!" Kiseki replied proudly. Chifuyu felt awkward at all the attention he was receiving, even Takemichi was surrounded by a few kids.

The caretakers caught the kids attention and got them all to play a game, relieving the two men a bit. Takemichi sighed in relief once the horde of kids finally dissipated, Kiseki was enough to handle much less 15 other kids. Their relief was short lived though as by recess time, they were swarmed by children again.
