Everyone gathered by the shrine to talk about what just happened. Baji was running a bit late. Y/n's face was totally dejected and devoid of all emotion.Chifuyu came up behind her and placed his hand on her shoulder, getting her to turn to look at him. The guilt was written on his face. "I'm sorry... It was our fault. We were right there and yet we couldn't do anything..." Chifuyu gritted his teeth as he finished his sentence.

Draken kicked a can on the ground beside the stairs, the veins were popping out of his forehead "What the hell happened anyways?"

The air was still for a minute as they waited for an answer, Mikey broke that silence,"Yeah, come to think of it, why did you ask us if Y/n was safe?"

"Uh... well the truth is.." Takemichi started speaking and everyone looked at him. "The reason Chifuyu and I told you guys that Y/n was free today is because we knew that if you went out with her today nobody would try to hurt her... or at least they could try." he finished.

When nobody said anything Kazutora broke the silence, "So that means you knew they would strike today? But how?"

"U-uhhh w-well..." Takemichi stuttered and looked to Chifuyu for help. Chifuyu stepped forward to take the pressure off his friend.

"We were uh- we were tipped off. We don't know who, they just left a note." Chifuyu went in for the save and Takemichi sighed in relief.

"Well whoever it was, their information seems to be accurate." Baji interrupts as he walks up the stairs, takes Y/n's hand and leads her over to the stairs, he sits down and pulls her into his lap.

"The police were called and we spoke to them, they said they'd do everything they could to find him but seeing as there aren't a whole lot of leads it doesn't seem likely." Chifuyu sighed and leaned against the railing.

"Why the hell would anyone do something this fucked? You said Kisaki had something to do with this?" Draken took out a cigarette and lit it. He started smoking 2 years back, Y/n always scolds him for it but she didn't have the energy for it today.

Y/n's eyes widened in shock and she looked at Baji. She had known Kisaki was a bad guy since she was told he planned everything that had happened 5 years ago. "Kisaki's involved in this?" she asked Baji. Baji ran his fingers through his hair and sighed, he decided to explain to everyone what he'd been hiding for these years, what had happened at the hospital.

For the next week they had been looking for leads, they even got the rest of Toman involved in the search. And yet along with the police's search they found nothing. Hope was looking grim for Y/n, Akane and the two grandmas had tried their hardest to console her. It wasn't until the 24th that there was a lead. Someone had rung the doorbell of Y/n and Bajis' apartment. When Y/n opened the door no one was there, only a box on the ground. "Huh... that's strange." she commented and slowly bent down to pick up the box. When she brought it in, Baji's mother asked her what it was. "I don't know, someone left it at the door," she responded to her.

Akane brought over a knife from the kitchen, "Let's open it then" she was hoping it was just a christmas gift delivered early. All 4 women stood around the box as Y/n opened it. Inside was a letter that had been typed and printed, and a bracelet. Y/n gasped, she picked up the bracelet for closer inspection and was certain.

"This bracelet... it belongs to Kiseki...." she said

Gasps filled the room, "Goodness!" her mother said as Akane took the bracelet from her. Y/n picked up the letter next and nervously read it aloud. The letter read as following"

"Merry christmas eve!

Do you like your present? Given with the utmost love for the young family. Surely the presence of your son would make this Christmas all the more special. If you wish to collect him, Baji Keisuke must come to ***** on *** street on the 25th, 7:00 pm on the dot. Not a second early, not a second late or we will kill him. Now we are sure you wouldn't want that, so make sure to come alone.

Y/n crushed the paper in her hand "Kisaki... that rotten bastard!!" she yelled, her eyes furious

"W-What does he mean by that last part?" Akane trembles.

"I swear to god if he laid a hand on Seki-chan I am going to stuff this knife up his ass!" Baji's mom had a scary expression, it seems like even the doting and lovely Gamma can be violent too. Y/n's mom brought the phone to her and nodded. She knew what to do. She dialed Bajis number, when he picked up she said, 

"I know where Kiseki is."
