next day | school

i was currently sitting in my history class. the bell rung and the teacher came in.

"i want you guys to continue working on your projects. remember, it's due tomorrow. so you guys better be making progress." she said. she went back to her desk and sat down.

"remember, i can monitor your screens. if i see you on an unnecessary tab, i'm giving you a warning." she said, looking at her class. everyone, including me, turned around desks around to face our group members. we did the same thing we did yesterday and we sat back down. i took out my laptop and set it on my desk.

"good thing is that we have lots of progress, but still need more." des spoke up.

"right cause yall kept playing around in the google slides." i joined in.

"yeah robert, why would you do that" mattia said, looking at robert.

"wha- why do you always blame me man." robert defended himself. des and i snickered and shook our heads and continued working on our shit.

it was 4th period and i was in my geometry class. alejandro had lunch with his 5 bestfriends, so i hope robert and mattia don't bring yesterday's shit up.

alejandro's pov

it was my lunch period and i head on over to my lunch table, after getting my lunch. mattia, kairi, and robert already gotten their food. i arrived and sat down.

"bro, i was at celia's house yesterday to hang out, and dude, she was being mad clingy. it was getting on my nerves." kairi said. kairi and celia aren't together, yet. they're just talking at the moment. but kairi finds celia very annoying. and she really is. every time we plan to hang out, she tries to get him not to go, so he can hang with her. she literally wants him all to herself. that's how clingy and annoying she is. and she also thinks she's all that shit, when she's just a pale looking stick.

"can't believe you're still with her" robert said.

"we're not dating. plus you can never get a girl." kairi said, messing up his hair. we laughed, then calmed down.

"dude, guess who robert and i hung out with after school yesterday? hint, one is a cheerleader." mattia spoke up, smirking.

cheerleader. devyn's a cheerleader. but i doubt it's her. there's 11 other cheerleaders. i mean mattia and robert do have a class with her, but they don't know her. plus, devyn knows she's not supposed to talk to my friends.

"ashley" alvaro said. mattia shook his head.

"broo, you're so stupid. it's definitely that sierra girl" i said.

"dude, i don't go for white girls" mattia scoffed.

"talk about your ex" i said. the guys started laughing and mattia rolled his eyes.

"yall are some stupid fuckers. it's neither of them." he said.

"well there's 8 more we haven't said" kairi spoke.

"ima just say it cause apparently yall can't get it right" he crossed his arms.

the bell interrupted mattia. he groaned and we got up. we left the cafeteria and made our way to 5th period.
