Y/N and Eevee head back to Night Raven Town with the mysterious crystal in hand, following the Tiny Robin Pokémon.
Y/N: Are we almost there, Fletchling?
Fletchling: Fletch! Fletchling!
Soon they can see the entrance of the town up ahead, the sun was already setting so it was best they stay there for awhile.
They head to the laboratory and entered it.
Y/N: Uncle Crewel! Professor Crowley! Is anyone here?
Soon they see their uncle walk out a room.
Crewel: Huh? Pups? you came back sooner than expected.
Y/N: Well you see we kinda got in a bit of a mess... and we'll found this.
Y/N showed their uncle the gem and Crewel's eyes widened.
Crewel: What in the!?
He rushed over to the trainer and took the handkerchief that contained the gem and analyzed it.
Crewel: Where did you get this?
Y/N: In the forest by a cave, there was a giant monster covered in black blot... although it wasn't a Pokémon.
Crewel:...No wonder it was out of our radars... we should really consider putting detectors in the forests.
Y/N: Uncle? what's going on?
Crewel hesitated but decided to just tell them.
Crewel:... Well since you already saw it... there's no point in hiding it. Follow me.
He guided the trainer to a room deep in the facility, there were numerous computers, documents and more of those black gems.
Y/N: Uncle... what's all this?
Crewel: Crowley!
Crowley peeked his head out from behind a piece of machinery.
Crowley: Yes? What is it Crewel?
Crewel: We got another one.
Crowley: What? But we've had all of the blots in our radar and managed to subdue them for quite awhile... How is this one?
Crewel: Y/N found a blot incarnation in the forest... It looks like this one had been there for awhile if this was the only thing left of it after subduing it.
Crowley:...I see so you intend to tell them?
Crewel: There's no point in covering it up, we need more trainers.
Crowley: I see.
Y/N: Uncle, what is all this?
The trainer asked confused to what was going on.
Crowley: Crewel, go put this one in the containment area. I'll do the explaining.
Crewel nodded and walked away.
Y/N: Professor?
Crowley: Now, you might be confused right?
Y/N: Yes, yes I am.
Crowley: Follow me and allow me to explain.
He guided them to the giant super computer in the middle of the laboratory. It showed different images of different forms of the same monster they fought. And on each monster there was a picture of a trainer next to it.
