The surgery went well and (Y/N) was back home after 3 days in the hospital. Mom and I thought she would be more comfortable if she stayed at the house instead of in the dorms. She was recovering quickly but still struggled with some everyday tasks. I sat outside the bathtub helping her wash her hair since she was still pretty sore to do it herself.

"I was lucky they didn't have to shave my hair off" She giggled bringing her legs to her bare chest and wrapping her arms around them.

"I would have still thought you were beautiful," I smirked squirting shampoo on my hand and running my fingers through her hair.

"Soobin...?" She whispered.

"Yes, baby?" I replied.

"I just... Thank you for everything you have done for me and I really love you." She said shyly looking down at her knees.

"I would do anything for you... I would kill for you." I chuckled and pecked her cheek.

"Do you need help in here Soobin?" Mom walked in and stood at the door with Bi-Na.

"No, I think we are good." I looked over my shoulder and gave them a reassuring smile.

"Soobin I need you to go to the store for me tomorrow if you can?" Mom asked cautiously. I looked over at (Y/N) and shook my head with no hesitation.

"No, I need to stay with (Y/N)," I replied seriously.

"Soobin, go and get yourself lunch and some alone time or ask someone to go with you. I will be okay with mom." (Y/N) reassured me smiling up at mom.

"If it makes you feel better I will come over and sit with her as well," Bi-Na suggested.

"All 3 of you are ganging up together so It doesn't seem like I have a choice." I chuckled and continued washing (Y/N)'s hair.

(Y/N) POV

"Okay, I will only be gone for 1 hour, 2 tops. If anything happens... call me and if any of you need anything call me aswell. I am going to the store across town then to eat. Okay?" Mom pushed Soobin out the door and shut it quickly.

"He is acting as if I didn't raise 3 kids with one of them being him." Mom shook her head laughing.

"I am a mother as well." Bi-Na scoffed and sat next to me on the couch.

"He's going a little overboard but that's his nature." I chuckled scrunching my face up playfully disgusted.

"He is super in love with you. Literally, head over heels for you... By the way how long have you two been together?" I looked down at the calendar on my phone and frowned.

"It's only been 9 months. I feel bad that it still hasn't been a year and here I am injured and he is taking care of me because my family can't stop working for more than a day." I rolled my eyes and locked my phone.

"I don't think he minds at all. He is happy you are here and getting better, period." I nod agreeing with Bi-Na but I still felt weird about it.

"I am sorry if it sounds odd I just... Not even my mother took care of me as well as he does. It's a little frightening at times but it also makes my heart melt into pure liquid." I blushed and hid my face in my hands.

"Look... He has ever had 2 other girlfriends and he never acted this way with them. After 6 months he couldn't stand being around them anymore. He truly loves you because we had to basically kick him out of his family home for some alone time." Mom laughed shaking her head at the stupidity of her youngest son.

"He's my first boyfriend which is maybe why I find it a little weird that someone outside my family that was once a stranger likes me as much as he does." Bi-Na sighs and leans back into the couch.

"It's true... That is a little strange when you think about it... But it's also kind of magical in a way. You chose to keep each other around and love each other endlessly with no previous ties just pure luck and connection. It's fun seeing my baby brother melt for someone especially you with how great you are and everything." I smile at Bi-Na and mom glad they have accepted me in the baby of the family's life.

"Okay now that he isn't here for one can I ask for a favor?" Mom looked worried and Bi-Na went serious as well.

"Can I get help washing the bedsheets?" We all erupt in laughter grateful it wasn't anything serious.

"Yes, we can help you do that." Mom made her way upstairs and Bi-Na patted my arm to help me up. My balance was super off since the surgery but they said that was normal since they had to go through my nose and it should wear off eventually. Since I basically had no balance I was struggling to walk and stand by myself.

"Have you and Soobin been doing school work?" Mom asked handing me the laundry detergent while Bi-Na stood close by for support.

"I have finished everything for the rest of the semester and Soobin has been completing his as well but I heard him talking to Yeonjun about how he's scared for me to go back to school. The school said they would help me get back on track with Physical Therapy and everything. So I don't know what he is scared of really." I shrugged closing the washer and pressing a button for it to start.

"Maybe he is willing to tell me..." I sighed and looked around.

"When I was unconscious I could still hear and he cried super hard asking me not to leave him. It broke my heart... the worst part was that at that very moment he asked me that I saw my Godmother extending her hand to me so I could follow her. It hurt me but I declined and that's when I opened my eyes." Mom sat back and Bi-Na gasped.

"Oh my!"
