It's been a minute, let's jump in. It is currently 2:08AM as I am typing this sentence.
1. The video linked is one of many songs that have gotten me through this third (yes third) semester of college.
2. I'm currently eating granola and drinking a lemonade flavored vitamin water. I need to get some more stuff, but Thanksgiving break is coming up so I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff until after the break.
3. My boyfriend's birthday is November 30th and I have no idea what to do or get for him for his birthday. On the 30th it will also be a month that we have been together. That is crazy to me. It seems like just last week I was standing in the parking lot with my jaw dropped at the fact that he was asking me out. Still crazy to me lol
4. My roommate is engaged and is planning to get married next August. Like that's crazy to me. I have friends that are married, have kids, or even both. And here I am in my second year of college with my first actual real relationship that isn't with a guy who I felt the need to nick-name amoeba. My mom has friends that have grandchildren, meanwhile she still has a kid in high school. I've had to learn to block out what everyone else is doing because comparing is pointless. Our lives are different and we are different people.
5. I miss my cat and my dog. I have lots of homework. It's going to be hard to get up tomorrow morning.
6. My boyfriend struggles with mental health and I don't know how to be there for him because I have friends that have mental health struggles but each person is an individual with individual needs. You can't assume that one thing that helps one person with their depression will help everyone feel better. But, if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments. I want to be there for him and give him what he needs without being overbearing and intrusive.
7. Pray for me :)
That is all goodnight people. As I'm ending this it is 2:19AM
