Chapter 1: The Academy

Napabaling ako ng tingin sa bintana nang may maramdaman akong kakaibang enerhiya na nagmumula sa  Field. Hinayaan ko na lng ito at nag focus sa tinuturo ni Prof. Rio.

Nang ibinalik ko ang tingin sa unahan ay nagulat ako nang mapansing nakatingin din sa Field ang mga kaklase ko. Naramdaman din nila yun panigurado, It's like draining my Magic and targetting my life source.
Napakunot ang noo ko nang mapansing hindi na nagtuturo si Prof. Rio.

"Ok Class. That's enough for today, see you tomorrow. Goodbye class." pagpapaalam ni Prof at saka dirediretsong lumakad palabas.

"Yow, Naramdaman mo din yun?" dinig kong tanong ni Axel, kaibigan ko.

"It drained my energy, I almost ran out of Mana." Zero replied.

Tumayo na ako at dirediretsong naglakad palabas "Hey! Wait" sigaw ni Axel.
 

"DO I have to come here?" tanong ko sa babaeng nakaupo sa swivel chair. I think thats the headmistress of this place.

"Cassia, You're back." napatingin ako sa babaeng kausap ni Mom. hmm judging by the looks, she's in her late 30s.

What's with this school? I felt more powerful here. hmm let's try this. I closed my eyes but immediately opened it and gasped for air. Why? 'Cause I almost exploded in so much Magic I sensed.

"Zenica! Stop it!"  napalingon ako kay  Mommy, "Oops! Sorry" saka ako lumapit sa bintana at tinanaw ang napakagandang lugar na ito.

"Ms. Von Gyo, ito ang iyong keycard at schedule of classes. Your dorm number is located at the top left ng keycard. You may now go" saad ni Headmistress.

Nagbow lng ako at umalis na. I just used tracking magic on the dorms so I won't get lost. I'm currently walking towards  the Girls Dorm.

Tiningnan ko ang Room number ko at naglakad papasok sa gusali. "Room 0914"

A room with a bed, a vanity table, a walk in closet, a door which seems like the bathroom and a window that overlooks the mezmerizing Magia Forest.

I sat down on my bed, I reached out for my bag and started organizing everything. "Ah, Finally done!" I unconsciously said. I walked towards the bathroom and took a bath, after taking a bath I changed in my pyjamas and went straight directly on my bed.
After several minutes I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of the speaker
"Attention students! Please line up outside your dorm room for attendance. Thank you"
"Attention students! Please line up outside your dorm room for attendance. Thank you"

Tiningnan ko ang orasan na nasa bed sidetable, 4:30 am, Tumayo na ako at naghilamos lang para magising. I opened the door only to see students lining up in front of their own dorm room.
Maya maya lng ay nakita ko na si Headmistress  Smith, "Good Morning students" nagsitahimik ang mga maiingay nang magsalita si Headmistress.
Makalipas ang ilang minuto ay pinapasok na kami sa kaniya kaniyang dorm room.
 
Nang makapasok ay dumiretso ako sa banyo at naligo, nakabihis na ako nang lumabas ako sa banyo. In fairness maganda yung uniform nila dito, pang korean. Umupo ako sa harap nang vanity table at tiningnan ang repleksyon ko sa salamin, inabot ko ang suklay at nagsuklay.
 
“Well I hope this goes well.” I casually walked out of the girls dorm and walk towards the Main Castle.
 
I can’t use teleportation magic here because it’s against the rules and I don’t break rules. Nang makapasok ako sa Main Castle ay sinalubong ako ng napaka ingay at magulong Grand Hall.
 
“Ang ganda noh? My cousin told me na hindi daw sila dito nag aral nung panahon na Magis in training pa sila.”
“Malamang. This castle belongs to Queen Cassia, rumor has it na ayaw nya daw tumira dito because its too big and lonely.”
 
I was casually walking when someone just appeared from nowhere, “Tss. What do you want Zero?” I asked.
 
“Who the hell is that?”
“How dare her talk to the member of the Royal Council.”
 
Ngumiti si Zero sa harap ko “Tss. You look like a dog" pang iinis ko. “Good morning Princess, Did you sleep well?” parang napipilitan pang ani niya.
 
“It's good until I saw your face, Pinsan" I grinned. Yes, Zero is my cousin. I cant believe it also, but wala akong magagawa. I casually walked away from him, I left him stunned.
 
“ZENICA!!!!!” I didn't look back , I just raised my hand, and casually walked towards the cafeteria. Mamaya lang nakasunod na naman yan saken. “Zenny, come on. I know you hate me, and I hate you too, but my Mom wants me to accompany you.” Saad niya. “Well, then tell Tita Angie that I don’t need you. I can handle myself, Zero at isa pa wala ka namang matutulong sakin, problema lang nga dala mo eh.” Saad ko, at napabuntong hininga naman siya.
 
“Just tell your Mom that I don’t need a babysitter. I’m fine and I can handle myself. Now, Get lost!” pagtataboy ko sa kaniya. I know I’m harsh but it’s true, I don’t need him, I don’t need anyone. “Fine, just call me if you want something.” Saad nya saka sya umalis.
 
Now I need to focus. May meeting ngayon para sa admission ng mga new students, kailangan kong pumunta sa Main Hall. I just closed my eyes and when I opened them I found myself standing in the middle of the Main Hall. ‘Cool’
 
Inilibot ko ang aking paningin sa buong hall. May chandelier na pagkalaki laki, May indoor stage na din dito na nasa pinakadulo ng Main hall. Nang mabusog ang mata ko sa mga nakita ay nag focus na ako sa pagtingin sa stage, pero nagulat ako nang makita si Mommy na prenteng nakaupo,sa gitna ng stage, katabi ang council at ang Headmistress.
 
Alam kong nararamdaman ni Mommy ang titig ko kaya’t hindi na ako nagulat nang kausapin nya ako gamit ang utak nya.
 
‘Hi sweetie, How’s your sleep?’
‘It’s fine, Mom. Now can you please stop. Baka may intruder dito. Oh and tell Tita Angie to stop telling Zero to accompany me. I’m fine here, Mom. Love you.’
 
Hindi ko na hinintay na makasagot si Mommy agad kong pinutol ang pag uusap namin dahil alam kong may ‘Intruder’ akala niya hindi ko siya na sense. This motherfucker is underestimating me. Agad akong bumuo ng koneksyon sa intruder and then I sent loud voice waves to his brain. ‘gotcha’
 
NAGULAT ang mga studyante ng Magia nang makarinig sila ng sobrang lakas na sigaw, nagkagulo ang lahat. Samantala, si Zenica naman ay ngingisi ngising nakatingin sa Intruder na syang sumisigaw. Zenica can channel loud excruciating voice waves to punish someone that intrudes her thought.
 
‘You, disobeyed the law of my privacy. You intrude a private conversation. Now, Suffer.’ Saad ni Zenica sa isip ng Kaawa awang lalaki. Lalong lumakas ang sigaw ng lalaki at mas nagpanic ang mga staff at mga estudyante ng Academy. “AHHHHHHH! TULONNGG! STOP! I’M SORRY! I’M SORRY! STOP PLEASE!!! AHHHHHHH!” sigaw ng lalaki.
 
“Enough!” nagulat ang lahat ng magsalita ang Reyna. “Astra, Stop it.” Agad namang tumigil si Zenica at tinitigan ang kaniyng Ina. Napatingin din ang mga tao sa reyna, nakuha naman ni Zenica ang atensyon ng Elite Royal. No one knows kung sino ang Astra na tinutukoy ng Reyna maliban kay Headmistress Smith at kay Zero.
