"I was in class, flight class, when I was dreaming about what it would be like to fly. Hi my name is Rue. All my life I wanted to be an explorer, I what to explore the world in the sky." Rue is a good girl. She loves the outdoors. She helps her dad work on catching animals and other things that make up nature. She lives in Alaska. She lives on the land and knows how to make for the best.
"Everyday I come home from class to a place where I can be myself, wild and crazy. I am waiting for 3 years to go by so I can get my flying degree."
Start of life
Chapter 2
Today is Rue's graduation from flight school. She is very excited to be able to explore the wonderful Earth. Finally she is free to go anywhere, wherever the world takes her. " I am ready to start my life." She raced through the school and out the door and to her house. She runs to her father and tells him that she graduated. He was thrilled. But alas he could not be happy because of his wife dying in the hospital. She promised she would make money to help her live. "I won't let you down dad." She said as she walked out the door to go on a walk to clear her head. Things raced in her mind about flying.
Ready to see the world
Chapter 3
She sits back in her chair listening to the instructor about how every thing works in the plane. Now she is ready to fly. " I'm sitting back in my chair thinking about everything I am about to see, the places I'll go, the people I'll meet, the sights I'll see." She is ready. She puts her finger on the key and turns it. She is racing down the runway. " Whoosh." She is off through the sky. " I feel so free like I'm walking on air. Finally, I'm flying." Her dream has finally come true.
She comes in for a landing, when she saw her father wait and cheering for her. He was so happy to she her so happy. He brings her home to see her mother standing in the doorway of the house. She runs to her with tears in her eyes. The hospital cured her cancer. She is relieved to see her mother alive and well. They sat down for dinner and she talked about her day and what it was like to fly in the sky. " It is beautiful" she said. " I'm so proud of you my daughter" her mother said. " I am too sweetie" her father added. They all finish their food and celebrated for her mother to be home.
A Terrible Day
Chapter 4
After 2 years of flying, Rue wants to travel the world and the seven seas of the world. She packs food and medicine, guns and ammunition, and other things to survive if she where stranded somewhere. She says bye to her family and friends. " Before you go, I want to give you this. It's a necklace from my great grandmother and I want you to have it. It is worth millions of dollars. Every time you think of me I will be right there" her mom said with tears running down her face. As she walks away, Rue gets everything ready and is off like a bird in the sky. " Have a great trip" her mother said to her self with a tear in her eye.
She was 7 miles from the north Alaska, the coldest part of Alaska when the planes engine failed and it was to late to turn back. " BOOM." She has crashed into a big tree. She blacked out, she can't see anything no more.
