Diego sped up to match Dora's brisk gait. She no longer noticed the cracks in the sidewalk.

"Dora...come on, Dora!"

Dora walked faster.

"Dora! Seriously you...oh Dora come back!"

Dora bit her tongue harder.

"Dora please...you didn't have to make a scene in there..."

"Make a scene?" Dora snapped around, furious.
"Why do you force me to dwell on this, huh? Why!" Diego was utterly flustered. "P-Please Dora, I was just talking about how I..." "They're gone Diego. Gone. Frozen to a fucking crisp on some mountain. Now all that's left is you, me, and Abue-"

There was a bloodshot tear in Dora's left eye.

Her lips furrowed until Diego thought she was about to explode. He embraced himself as Dora's foot lunged forward on the sidewalk, preparing for her offense. Her arms encompassed her with a fervent passion. It was a hug.
