Down river bank it goes,
Everything of rue,
Down the river bank it goes.

The troubled waters desending down the fall
Of others grief.

Up the river bank it comes,
Fish of castles in the air,
Ripples from the weeps of woe,
Up the river bank it comes.
The Amity of the river attracts me,
Down the river bank I go.
