Forgotten Kiss [Minsung]

Help Needed

The next few weeks were pretty much chaos for everyone on campus. Either they were pre-occupied with assignments or they were using the music rooms on the music building to practice or they were starting to construct the stages need for the stalls. Even though most people who have been here for long have seen this already they never got used to all the chaos. It was like whenever you stepped into a ground that usually used to be empty, there would be a group of students on the other side building frameworks for whatever stall they were doing. A group of people from the psychology department and the mechanical engineering department collaborated together to build a haunted house near the central ground. They had already started building the wooden structures for the haunted house and the central ground was off limits because of the construction.

The 8 campus kings had planned a meeting near the business faculty's cafeteria. They all were discussing as to what concept they should use for their stall. They had big competition since they had to compete with the haunted house so they had to make sure that whatever they plan will be able to beat out the haunted house in terms of sales.

"We could do a sort of butler cafe theme where they can take photos with us. Like the bigger the group then the more photos they can take with us." Changbin suggested.

"Yeah but isn't a butler cafe too typical? I mean we can do it but we need some sort of way to spice it up don't you think?" Hyunjin said.

"What if we also set up like a wheel of fortune thing for everyone. Like if they land on a certain spot they can pick a sort of reward." Lee Know said. "This type of thing mostly makes people go crazy. But we might need to get some of the popular campus girls too since we would want both guys and girls to come to our stalls."

"Oh yeah it would be good if we could have some girls working on the stalls with us too. Any in mind?" Bang Chan asked.

"Well I am still relatively new here but I have interacted with Scarlet a lot, the one who asked me to be a campus king. She seems to have a lot of connections and favours with the girls so you could ask her." Lee Know replied.

" She is one of the most popular girls in campus and majority of the guys on campus have a crush on her so it would be good to have her help out." Seungmin said. "We have to ask her if she would agree the next time we see her."

"Also for the wheel of fortune thing, what exactly are the rewards?" Han asked Lee Know.

"Well the normal ones may be like get an autograph or get a snack fed by one of the members of they only win the wheel of fortune. We can have a sort of special prize like a kiss on the cheek if they win the wheel of fortune and spend a certain amount in the stall." Lee Know replied.

"You can kiss my cheek whenever you want." Han said leaning towards Lee Know showing his cheeks.

Lee Know pushed his cheek away and retorted" I don't want to kiss your cheeks, thank you very much."

"Many people would love to kiss these squirrel cheeks you know?" Han said smirking and acting like the push from Lee Know hurt his cheek.

"Squirrel cheeks?" Lee Know asked confused.

"Han is also nicknamed as squirrel because of the way he eats and his cheeks." Felix said pinching Han's cheeks.

"That hurts you know." Han says, trying to pull away from Felix's grip on his cheeks.

"Cute name." Lee Know said and looked back at his phone trying to search for more ideas for the rewards.

When Han heard Lee Know say that he suddenly felt the blood rush to his cheeks and felt warm inside like a mid summer day. He was aware of those words echoing in his ears and his heart thumping a mile a minute. He wondered why those two words made him feel this way. 
Han had never really been in a relationship or liked anyone before. He just used to hang out with his friends and mind his own business. Even though he was a campus king and had many girls who liked him, he never felt anything for them and just avoided love confessions because he didn't want to break the girl's heart.

"I can also get a few girls from my faculty to come and help us with the stalls. A lot of the girls in my classes have tons of admirers." Jeongin said enthusiastically.

"Okay. So let us split up into two groups. One can accompany Lee Know and ask Scarlet if she can help and the other can go with me and Jeongin and talk to the girls in his faculty.

"OK" everyone replied and dispersed with their own groups.

Bang Chan, Jeongin, Seungmin and Felix went together to scout the girls from Jeongin's campus. and Changbin, Hyunjin, Han and Lee Know went together to talk to Scarlet and hopefully scout her and her friends for the stalls.

Lee Know told the others that she studied in the arts course so they should go and check out the lobby of the art faculty. When they reached the art faculty they saw many paintings done by previous alumni and sculptures hanging from the ceiling or displayed all over the lobby. The art's course faculty was one of the most beautiful places on campus. It also had an amazing amphitheatre which was redone every year by the students under the welding programme as a sort of legacy for the freshmen next year. So the amphitheatre was never the same.

"The drama club is renting out the amphitheatre again for their plays. They always get the best locations on campus. Even the central ground has been taken up by the students working on the haunted house. In terms of location we have no upper hand." Hyunjin said observing the theatre.

"There may be places on campus that are pretty, we just need to find it Hyunjin. It may surprise you how many hidden spots are there on campus that we usually ignore which are actually very beautiful." Changbin said patting Hyunjin on the back.

In the far off distance they saw Scarlet coming down the top stairs of the amphitheater along with other people from her major.  She majored in welding and often working with glass, metal and various minerals so a lot of her coverall had soot or burns all over.

"HEY SCARLET." Changbin shouted. She looked over, surprised to see them calling for her. She made her way down the theatre and made her way through the crowd of students.

"Hey..... What are you guys doing here? I don't think I scheduled any campus king stuff for you guys." Scarlet said wiping a few soot marks off her coveralls.

"They want your help with the stalls Scarlet." Lee Know said briefly and curtly and then pushed Han forwards to explain. Han looked surprised when he pushed him forward and looked at his with a confused look. He then looked at Scarlet and started explaining what they were planning to do.

"So you guys need my help to find girls willing to volunteer for your stall?" Scarlet asked.

"Yeah. You can also help us build the stalls. Your mad welding skills are known throughout the campus." Changbin replied.

"And you get to work with the amazing campus kings." Han said winking and making finger guns making Scarlett giggle.

"Okay, okay I will help you guys and I will also help to recruit a few girls for the stall. But you guys are in charge of the menu and finding the ideal spot." Scarlet said. "Anyways I got to go since I have to return to class and finish my project. Lee Know has my contact so you can just add me in the group with the people working on this project. Bye." She said waving and walking away.

"Bye..." the boys said in unison.
