Drowning

.
I was in the warm blue ocean near my family's hut, playing and splashing around in it. What happened was uncalled for, but was my fault, I was small and I went out too far. I should have knew better.
I can't remember how old I was, but I think I was 5. I continued into the deep water, but I slipped on the rocks.
With the current, I was having a hard time getting up and was continuously getting pulled under. I couldn't breath at all. I sat there in pain, splashing around, until my older brother by 3-4 years came and picked me up and carried me to shallow water.
"Don't go out that far," he lectured, and returned back into the hut.
I listened. For a while, at the most.
I got tired of being in such shallow water, and wanted to go deeper. Besides, my brother would be there to help me get back up.
I walked deeper into the water, but it happened again; I slipped.
I started splashing around, hoping to get the attention of my brother or anyone to help me. I started sinking, I could barely touch the surface of the water anymore. I could feel the pain in my lungs as water filled them up. I still desperately hoped for someone to help me.
But no one came.
It's dark here now, kinda peaceful.
