Babysitting

We'll just assume that the This Is War series ends happily. ONE SHOTS WILL PROBABLY NOT BE CANON SO DON'T EAT ME!

"Gather round children," Mya whispered in a hushed tone and waited patiently for the six kids to settle down with their bickering, screaming, and swearing revenge upon---ing.

Starbursts. Meaky. PJ. And MJ. They were Cadence's kids and were probably the most adorable balls of energy Mya was ever forced to babysit--- whether willingly or unwillingly, no one will ever know.

Then there was a little girl whose huge eyes shone with more knowledge and intellect than that of many adults the age of her parents, but despite that, Mya was determined to make sure the daughter of her half sister Phoenix, didn't grow up too fast. (Which on her part involved a lot of gelato and trips to Italy.) Her name was Maladys.

Last but not least was a young blond haired boy, with an obsession with marshmallows that nearly had Mya climbing up the walls. Lash. (He parentage can be assumed.)

"GIVE IT BACK!!!!!" Meaky squealed and lunged after Lash who was holding her frying pan.

"Never!" Lash yelled back.

"You asked for it!" She screamed and tackled him to the ground where they wrestled for a long while.

"There's water in the air..." PJ exclaimed in wonder.

Starbursts poked PJ's face, causing PJ to smack him. Maladys and MJ watched them in indifference. "What did I do to deserve them as brothers," MJ muttered.

"Beats me, I'm an only child," Maladys replied.

Mya sighed. It was on nights like tonight that she wondered why she ever volunteered for these things. "Plays guys!" She grinned and clapped enthusiastically. "How about we have dinner and then story time! What say you!"

"FOOD!!!" Starbursts screamed and dove for the kitchen.

She really shouldn't have said that.
