The Tales of the Crescent Moon

Chapter 1

October 1

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I groan and roll out of bed onto the hard wooden floor.

"Ugh ow that hurts"

I get up and I walk to bathroom all sleepish like.I brush my teeth and take a short bath. I put on black and white stockings,a white shirt that says THE BEST WAY TO BEHAVE IS NOT TO, a black skirt,knee high converses and my favorite black leather jacket.I walk down the stairs listening to the sound of my shoes tapping against the floorboard.I sit down on the table next my foster mother Ms.Patterson.

She take's one look at me and says "really Rene that jacket again.Your transfering to a new school and your still thinking about him.Time to get over him and loose that jacket he was only holding you back.See I live perfectly fine without a man you could the same"

"Yeah,thats good for you but I'm going to keep his jacket just in case."

"In case of what Selene,he's not coming back and if he loved you he would be back a long time ago or at least called you.All guys are the same!"

She poured herself a drink.People like that will always be alone.She's just heartbroken after she kicked out her husband.

"I'll come see you when I can,we are allowed to leave campus on the weekends."

"You don't need to watch over me Selene,I'll be fine.I'm a grown women just watch out for yourself;okay.Now show me why you got accepted to that school."

I pulled my stele out of my shoe and with a flick of the wand a portal appeared in front of me.I returned the wand to it's rightful took a few steps toward it then I turned around and took a good look at her.Gosh she doesn't know how much I'm going to miss her.I practically tackle her with my hug.

"Just remember I will always love you."

Tears were now comming from her eyes "And I will always love you Selene."

I let go of my tight grasp that I had on her,I ran toward the glowing blue portal and jumped through.
