Chapter 2

Recap: I let go of my tight grasp that I had on her,I ran toward the glowing blue portal and jumped through

A bright flash happened and I was standing in front of a beautiful school. It looked more like a place actually. This beautifully grand residence was polished from top to bottom; painted blue, black, white and periwinkle. This is where I'm going to be spending the next 4 years of my life. I know what you must be thinking, what is a 15 year old girl doing as a freshman. Well after my parents died I took a year off and spent it in a mental institute. I was supposed to spend a much longer time there but one night right after they began talking about sending me to a boot camp institute in Russia a boy appeared in my dreams and soothed me to peace. After that I started to improve and that lead me here to Enchanted High.

I put my foot on the first step and thought to myself this is what you worked so hard for now let's see if it was worth it.

"Talking to yourself ,that's weird. " said a boy who walked into the school.

"Reigns,wait up" shouted a girl and he dashed.

His voice seemed familiar but then bell rang and I forgot all about. There was an announcement being made on the intercom.

"Good morning students and welcome back. All students report to the auditorium, I have an important announcement to make." said the woman who I believe is the principal.

I fish out the school map they sent me in the mail with my room key, schedule and locker number.

"Ummm so the auditorium is straight ahead to the right" I muttered

"Talking to yourself , weirdo" this voice sounds familiar; must be the boy from before but when I looked up I saw a different boy with jet black hair and hazel eyes.

"I..I..I" I stuttered out

"I..I.I; what happened cats got your tough" said the boy with a smirk on his face

"Leave me alone" I said while walking away quickly. When I walked in the auditorium I was astonished this room was breath taking. Since, I've been here everything I have seen has amazed me. I found a seat in the farthest seat in the front row. Everyone were muttering why are we here until the doors slammed open.

The whole room went quite, all you could hear was the sound of footsteps. Tap, tap, tap against the floor they went until I found the owner to those footsteps. A beautiful women who looked like she was in her early thirties, that's not the women I met during the summer tour of the school. During that tour I met all the teachers and the principal and that women is not her.

She reached the stage and the first thing she said was "Any questions or statements before I begin" my hand immediately shot up.

"Yes, you"  she said pointing at me

"Who are you and where is Headmistress Periwinkle?" I asked

"Both my mother and the former principal died during the summer from unknown death I am her granddaughter Rosalie Periwinkle the new Headmistress and I would like you to treat me the same way you would have treated her, with respect." she sulked while she was talking

"Any other questions" no one said anything

"Okay" she said getting comfortable on a table on the stage.

"This year is a new year with new people and you better abide to my rules of get out of my school. These grades that I saw for the students in this school were terrible, the new ones and the old ones. Now there are 10 outstanding students here that are not only smart but active and talented.
