Bakugo is leaning against his car hood, phone in hand. He had been texting Kirishima when Delilah had called out to him. "Daddy!" His gaze snaps up, locking his phone and stuffing it into his pocket. The man bends down to pick his daughter up, wrapping his arms around her in a hug. It was the first time he had hugged his daughter. He feels his heart swell, holding her close. He was almost afraid that if he let go then she'd disappear. He wasn't aware of how good this could've been. Having his own kid. You were definitely right. It's lonely at the top.

Bakugo drove a black mustang. It fit him. Though, you weren't really sure how your four-year-old daughter was supposed to sit in it. "Bakugo. . . Do you have a booster seat?" Oh shit. A booster seat? Did she need that? Delilah only groans. "Mooooom I'm big enough I don't need one." Yeah, definitely her father's attitude. "I didn't know she needed one. . ." He gives you this look. You knew he was trying. You sighed, brushing some hair out of your face. It was cold enough that you could see your breath. "I have one back at our place. Come on." You lead the way, Bakugo following behind as he held Delilah on his shoulders.

She was babbling away all excitedly, Bakugo only humming every once in a while to acknowledge her. You got lost in your thoughts. Where was he taking you? Would it be kid-friendly? Did he even know what kid-friendly meant? Why were you so nervous? It had just been the two of you for so long. You were okay in your little bubble. Of course, you had Momo and your parents. Even Bakugo's parents had helped through the pregnancy, wanting to send over clothes and gifts for their granddaughter. On the rare occasion, they'd send some money to help you with the bills when things got tight. Speaking of which, you need to make it a point to visit them. They'd known you since your third year at UA when you'd gotten close to Katsuki. They'd only ever seen Delilah through the video chats you guys managed once a month. It was hard with the time zones and such, but you made it work.

Before you know it, you'd reached the front door. You pull out your keys, unlocking it, and stepping inside. "Sorry about the mess. I was in the middle of cleaning the kitchen. "Yeah, Daddy! We watched you on T.V!" Delilah was excited to share the news. "Is that right?" He shoots you a shit-eating grin and you only groan, rolling your eyes. "She made me." You grumbled. "Sure she did." His sarcasm only annoyed you further. "I'm gonna go get the booster seat. Just wait here." With that said, you retreated into the other room.

"So you watched me on T.V, hmm? Is Dynamight your favorite hero?" She only giggles. He takes her off his shoulders, setting her down gently. He almost thought he'd break her if he wasn't careful. She only shakes her head, pulling on the bottom of his jacket. "No! You're my favorite hero, Daddy!" He only smirks, bending down. "Can Daddy tell you a secret?" She nods her head eagerly and Bakugo cups a hand around his mouth to whisper in her ear. "I 𝒂𝒎 Dynamight." She gasps, Vermillion eyes wide. She stares up at him in shock. He only chuckles at her reaction.

You step out of the room, booster seat in hand, and your daughter is running up to you excitedly. She's jumping up and down. "Mommy! Mommy! Guess what? Daddy is Dynamight! He told me so!" You bend down, ruffling her hair and moving to tickle her side gently. She breaks out into laughter running to hide behind her father's legs. "Is that so? Daddy must trust you a lot to tell you that." You smile. It's forced, and Bakugo can tell you're trying so hard to get through tonight for her. You really were an amazing mom. He had to give you that.
