The year is 1997, and 7 year old Abel has just found out that is mother is in the third trimester of pregnancy, the ninth month to be exact.

"She's due in a little less than a week." The doctor spoke on the phone with Makkonen.

"February 23rd is the estimated date you said?" Makkonen asked.

"Yes, that's what we believe." The doctor answered.

"Okay i'll be sure to tell her that." Makkonen said, then got off the phone with the doctor and went upstairs to tell Samra what he had just been informed of.

Meanwhile, Abel was at school, he was now in 2nd grade. Kids still made fun of him for every reason possible, which only made going to school worse for him. He thought he would escape his father's harmful grasp, but he was quickly proven wrong.

"Hi, Tesfaye." Abby, one of Abel's classmates said in a taunting way. She had long ginger hair, bangs, freckles spread across her nose bridge and cheeks, bright blue eyes and a tooth gap. She was wearing a green plaid dress with black tights and red ballerina heels.

Abel tried to ignore her, but she pushed him off of his chair.

"Don't ignore me!! I SAID, HI TESFAYE!!" She shouted at him.

"Abbagail! Apologize to Abel!" The teacher spoke loudly.

"No!! He ignored me when i said hi!" Abby said. She was quite stubborn and rude.

"Abbagail. I said apologize to the boy, NOW." The teacher said sternly.

Abby crossed her arms and made a "hmph." noise.

"Sorry, Tesfaye." She said, not sounding sincere at all.

"Say it like you mean it." The teacher spoke to Abby.

"I don't mean it! I dont care! Lick my butt Mrs. Thomas!!" Abby yelled.

"PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE!! NOW!!" Mrs. Thomas yelled back at Abby, and she stomped out of the classroom.

Abel got up from the ground, Mrs. Thomas came over to him. "Are you alright sweetheart?" She said in a comforting voice.

Abel nodded, even though he wasn't alright. He was crying and everyone was laughing at him.

"Tesfaye's crying!!" One kid called out.

"He's such a crybaby!!" Another shouted.

"CRYBABY CRYBABY CRYBABY!!" The whole class chanted as Abel continued to cry, Mrs. Thomas was trying to comfort him but it only made things worse.

"Look!! He needs the teacher to rub his back for him!!" A kid shouted out, pointing at Abel and laughing.

Abel just stood there while the teacher rubbed his back, feeling helpless.

FAST FORWARD

After Makkonen picked Abel up from school, Abel immediately went to his room. He was always living in constant fear of his father.

In his room, Abel sat on his bed. He didnt have a TV or any other luxury of that sort, so he usually stared at the wall or fiddled with his fingers. That of course was when his dad wasn't throwing him against the wall or punching him into unconsciousness.

"TESFAYE!!!" Makkonen yelled, throwing Abel's bedroom door open as if he was standing there the entire time.

"WHY IS THERE A COFFEE STAIN ON MY SOFA?!?!" He hollered at his son.

"It wasn't me dad, I-I-I sw-swear-" Abel stuttered, shaking with fear.

"LIKE IM GONNA BELIEVE YOUR BULLSHIT!! YOU FUCKIN BRAT!!! ALWAYS SPILLING SHIT AND BREAKING SHIT!!! YOU JUST CAN'T EVER BEHAVE NORMALLY CAN YOU?!?! YOUR A FUCKING DISAPPOINTMENT TO THIS FAMILY!!" Makkonen screamed at the top of his lungs, grabbing Abel by the collar of his shirt and pinning him against the wall, punching him in the face and kneeing his stomach over and over.
