The new girl

the town meeting

Barrel's POV

I was in the living room watching a movie whilst Lock was planning another surprise date with Shock in the graveyard, and there is no way I'm gonna help him this time he can do it himself. I wish I had a girlfriend or just someone to love in this world. Then we heard that there was a town meeting that night but was already 5 pm by that point so the three of us went to this stupid meeting as if I wanted to do anyway nothing interesting happens just Halloween plans and announcements you should be happy about like when Sally was pregnant, Sandy Claws is coming to town, or there will be a new holiday but something about tonight felt a bit different than any other meeting.

Time Lap (at the meeting) 

I don't know why but then Jack walked onto the stage and announced that there was a new arrival in town I was on the edge of my seat grinning excitement to see who it was but my jaw dropped when a cute doll walked onto the stage "hi" she said in a shy voice "my-my name is V-V-Voodoo" I felt my face slowly heat up then Lock turned to look at my red face then glanced at the new girl "you like her don't you" he said grinning from ear to ear I stared daggers at him and I pinched him on the tail hard in anger and embarrassment, Jack started talking so the two of us turned to face the front trying to ignore Lock and his stupid comment "since Voodoo is new here someone will have to take custody of her and may I ask how old are you?" Jack asked looking and standing over her "I-I-I-I'm 13 S-Sir" she exclaimed, "oh lord she's the same age as me" I thought then I heard Shock whisper "can she please be in our group Lockie we need another girl in the group and besides the poor thing is new here, she's still probably trying to figure out where the hell she is because this place ain't heaven or hell" After 5 minutes of waiting Lock agreed " ok she can be in our group but she wants to stay with us she will have to sleep in your room on the spare matters" Shock nodded with excitement and happiness, I was just happy what she will be in our group at all. When the meeting was over we started to look for her "man she got out of there fast", I found her sitting on the edge of the fountain stitching something together it looked like a dress makes sense since she is a doll after all, "um excuse me" I said walking up to her trying not to freack her out "y-yes" she said looking up at me confused then Lock and Shock showed up behind me "will you like to be a part of our group" Shock asked holding a hand out for her to grab but Voodoo jumped up and hugged her with her dress thingy falling to the ground " YES YES I will love to be in your group thank you so much" she said very hyper and exited "ok it is settled you can live with us" Lock said then the Voodoo pulled away "I'm sorry but I don't know your names" she said tilting her head to the side with curiosity, "I'm Barlle" I said "the devil is Lock and the witch is Shock" I said pointing at then Voodoo just smiled and nodded at me as I told her they were a couple "sooooo were do you guys live exactly apartment, granny flat, grandma's basement" Voodoo said jokingly then glaring at me in a weird way what the hell is going on "don't worry its like we're gonna kidnap you" Lock said in a joking matter but we started walking to the tree house I turned around to see Voodoo pale as a ghost,  lying on the ground motionless "OH CRAP" I yelled running toward her Shock ran after me and  kneelt down beside her panicking, then Shock felt for her pulse "she's ok she just fainted we need to get her home".
