Chapter 8: Blueblood

          Richie awoke at 7:00 o’clock as he did every school morning and was making himself breakfast. It had been two whole years since the trio performed at the outside concert. Richie, now 13 and an eighth grader, kept his build and was getting ready for school. He had just left his house and was walking to school. Nothing really happened on his route from school and back. As he arrived at school and waited for first period he met up with some of his friends Big Mac, Spike, and his new friends Vinyl Scratch, Doc and Shining Armor. Vinyl was an amateur DJ. She had beautiful maroon eyes though she always wore sunglasses. Even though Vinyl was a girl she liked to hang out with the guys since she was a bit of a tomboy like Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Vinyl had blue hair with two light blue streaks in a pattern. It was shaggy though it was combed towards the front of her face. Doc was in the same grade as Big Mac and had nicely combed hair, a brown shirt and an unmistakable rich English accent. His nick name was “The Doctor” due to his obsession over Doctor Who. Shining Armor was Twilights older brother and quite the looker. He never thought he was one, though all the screaming girls are a major heads up. All the girls were crazy about him and a certain other.

They were just talking when they heard a scream. They all looked in the same direction from where the scream came from. “That sounded like Fluttershy!” Richie said with a look of concern. The group all ran towards the direction where they heard Fluttershy’s scream. When they got there Richie saw the gang and Fluttershy on the floor surrounded by four other guys. They all turned around at the sound of the groups sneakers sliding across the floor. Richie said “I suggest you get the hell out of here unless you want to get your ass kicked”. Blueblood the other one who girls seemed to go crazy for and the one who seemed to be the leader of the click said “Oh hey look guys it’s the Joesy Boy” he said with an accent that was similar to Doc’s thought he said Joesy with an insulting Jersey Shore type of speech. Richie was taken back then replied “Hey guys look it’s the stuck up Brit” the others all laughed.  Blueblood clenched his fist “I am not British for the last fucking time!” due to his accent and his very high class attitude people always thought Blueblood was British. Richie continued to taunt him “Whatever you say mah ol’ chap” again in an insulting accent. Blueblood tapped on one of his guys shoulder and whispered something as he cracked his knuckles.

The guy ran towards Richie. Richie stood still. The guy threw a punch. Richie ducked under him and punched him straight in the ribs. While the guy was clenching his stomach in pain Richie took the opportunity and uppercutted him. This knocked him out and sent him falling on the floor. The others were amazed by what they saw. It all happened so quickly. A crowd of kids were gathering around at this point. Richie gave Blueblood a smirk as he looked down at the guy he just knocked and out raised him arms up as if to say ‘Come at me bro’ (You will see later on that Richie crosses the thin line between being a respectable young man and just being a prick). Another guy ran towards him. Richie didn’t dodge he ran up to him and wrapped his arm around the guys. He then pulled up his shoulder breaking his arm. “AHHHH” he yelled in pain then Richie delivered a swift punch into his face knocking him out as well. Blueblood was getting frustrated and sent another guy towards him. He was huge and towered over Richie and Big Mac. He ran (barley) towards Richie and tried to tackle him.  Richie jumped up and held on to a pipe that was above him. The guy ran passed the pipe. Richie let go and when he hit the floor he kicked the guy’s feet from under him. He fell on the ground with a huge thud. Richie then ran up to him and knelt over him and punched him in the face. Blueblood was stunned as he looked at all of his guys trying to get up from the floor. He looked at Richie with a look of pure anger and said “Beware Richie Jumbo all actions have consequences …” he paused “…things from your past will come back to haunt you”. Richie gave a look that said ‘Yeah right’. Blueblood then ran off.

All the kids began to clap amazed at the scene they just witnessed. Richie didn’t think much of this encounter. He then walked up to Fluttershy. He held out his hand to help her up. When she got up she looked worried. “Do you know who that was?” Richie replied “Just some douche” he shrugged his shoulder. “No, that was Blueblood, he’s Principle Celestia’s nephew and one of the richest kids in California” Richie was worried. “Oh crap” Richie replied not being able to think what might happen because of what he just did. His thought was cut off by the sound of the first period bell. He walked to class not being able to think straight hoping that what Blueblood wouldn’t be true.

*One Week Later*

Richie had gotten over what Fluttershy told him. Principle Celestia did not suspend him and just gave Blueblood and Richie a talking to. Richie was eating his lunch with the old gang including three new friends named Derpy, Zecora, and Octavia. Derpy had blond hair and yellow-ish eyes. She had acrush on Doc and preety much everyone except Doc knew. Her eyes were crooked though Richie personally thought it kinda fit her really nicely. Zecora had rich black skin and black and white hair. Octavia was very elegant and very polite. It’s kind of ironic that she and Vinyl were best friends. She had on a little light purple bow tie that she always wore.  While they were still eating lunch Rainbow spotted someone from across the eating area. “Richie look over there” she said as she pointed to what she saw. Richie and the rest of the gang all looked over to see Blueblood walking towards them. Richie along with Big Mac and Shining Armor sat up and began to walk towards them as well. As they reached each other Richie said “Where are your boys they still in the hospital” (Again… being a prick) Blueblood had a face of pure anger. Richie said “Why are you here? You want me to kick your sorry ass too” he said with a smirk. “No I’m here to get some revenge” he said. Richie was taken. “Are you sure about that man?” He didn’t reply. He just put up his fists. “Alright let’s go!”

Blueblood ran towards Richie. As she threw a punch Richie ducked under it and ran around her. As Blueblood looked back as Richie jumped up and punched him straight in him face. Blueblood fell to one knee in pain. Blueblood ran up to Richie and threw a punch. Richie turned to the side and punched him in the gut making Blueblood clench his body in pain. Richie tried to finish off Blueblood with a swift kick to the side of the head. Richie threw up his leg. Only too be stopped by Blueblood. He grabbed Richie’s leg then threw it to the side making Richie spin in midair. As Richie fell on his back Blueblood bent over to him and was going to sock him in the face. But Richie grabbed his fist and pushed him away with his feet. Richie got up and looked at Rainbow Dash. He said “Rainbow cup your hands together”. She did as he said. Richie ran up to her and jumped off of her cupped hand and was going to deliver a swift disaster kick to his face. Blueblood saw Richie and ducked as Richie flew over him and landed on his feet. Blueblood then ran up to Richie and he kicked back with his foot landing right on Bluebloods face. As Richie and Blueblood shook off the move Richie had pulled they ran towards each other only to be stopped by Fluttershy. She had a look of concern. “Fluttershy, move so I can kick this guy’s ass!” Richie said. “No Richie this isn’t solving anything” she said trying to calm down Richie. She began to say “Just calm down so you don’t do somethi-” Blueblood had punched her in the cheek and she fell to the ground. Richie looked at Fluttershy then looked at Blueblood as the girls were trying to help Fluttershy. “Now let’s finish this fight” Blueblood said as cracked his knuckles. Richie’s fire red eyes were practically glowing with anger as if they were really on fire. Richie tackled Blueblood to the ground. Richie then began to punch him right in the face. Over and over again leaving his fists covered in blood and Bluebloods face covered in blood and bruises. He was beaten within an inch of his life Blueblood was not even moving anymore. Big Mac and Shining armor were trying to keep Richie away from Blueblood. Richie shook them off then ran towards Fluttershy.

Richie lifted her up as she began to awake Richie put on of her arms over Applejacks and Rainbows shoulders. As they left he said “Make sure she stays awake or she could-” Richie was knocked unconscious. Blueblood had gotten up and hit him in the back of the head with a bat. Richie could see Blueblood standing over him. Enjoying his achievement. Richie lifted a hand as if to punch Blueblood. Before he was hit in the head again with the bat and that did it. Richie eyesight had gone completely black and was unconscious.
