She wakes to her heart beating rapidly, as her breathing finally slows down whilst sweat dripping from her forehead.

"Not again" she sighs out loud Whilst still feeling his lingering touch as it burns with the warmth from his hand on her face.

The clock aluminate the time. It's only 3 am.

She drags her self out of bed and rushes over to the bathroom mirror. The lights blinds her for a second, as she starring back to a flushed face from demons ones Put to rest so long ago.

The rush of the cold water over her face brings her back to reality. "It was only a dream" she whispers... "only a dream"

The sun-rays softly dances on Megans face as morning makes its way into her room.
For a split second, her head is clear. No complications that comes with life, just peace in the stillness of the morning.

"let's do this..." she motivates herself out of bed. Her eyelids feeling like the weight of the world are weighing them Down, as her black hair falls perfectly over her olive skin.

"Are you awake?" Ella's voice echos from the kitchen. "Your coffees getting cold" Ella as the kind of person Meghan needed in her life. She was kind and quite the socialite, however she could be very blunt at time but always knew how to choose her words wisely. Not a walk over at all.
"You a lifesaver" Meghan replies whiles fixing her hair in a messy bun as she plots herself down on the kitchen counter. "You ok?" Ella ask as she sips her coffee.
"Yeah, guess some demons knows how to reappear, I suppose." Meghan sighs.
"You gonna be ok? Or do we need to call in sick?" Ella response empathetically.

Ella and Meghan has been friends for only 6 months and they've been inseparable.
It's like their souls knew each other before they met. You know the type of friend any girl should have.

There is a light buzz as Meghan makes her way through the turnstiles at work. Routine has always been a way to keep her from staying focus, but uncomfortable at the same time. It's Friday morning, at-least she won't have to come into this place that makes her feel like a trapped bird, cages in by expectations others placed on her. She places her bag on her desk and switches on her Desktop, while planning her day. Her mind keeps resonating to the warmth while touching her face to make sure her mind is only playing tricks on her. For a few seconds she can feel her eyes fill up with tears as her heart cracks open and breaks a little more.

The day has flown by as she makes her way Down the freeway on her way home. As the sun creeps away from the moon, her heart fears the night and shadows that brings the haunting of Dylan through remanence of memories that won't fade. It's one thing being haunted by a ghost, it's another when you being haunted by a memory of a person who's not deceased.

                                ——————————-
Meghan grew up in a little Town, where everyone knew each other or in this case of each other.

Meghan was only 19 when she met Dylan who at the time was 24. Dylan was taller than your average male, with brought shoulders, black hair and deep brown eyes, that seems like they pierced straight into your soul, which sometimes reminded her of a modern day Greek God, but very far away from being Greek. Your typical bad guy, who knew he could have any young lady fall hopelessly in love with him. There was just something that somehow ever so strangely draw them to each other. Something extremely Familiar Meghan could never put her finger on. Besides the last thing Meghan needed at this time is another relationship where her world revolves around a man and what he wants and he needs. She literally just came out of something so intense that questioned her entire being and brought fourth a million and one insecurities she believed she dealt with.
Her Pandora box of emotions have been opened and the only ones she could deal with was her own. She couldn't deal with someone else's hurt and pain, which  resonated in Dylan's eyes.
See, she always had a thing for birds with broken wings she was just to broken to care, or so she thought.
Because of the traumatic experience Meghan has built this wall around her that doesn't allow anyone in and more so damaging to her own well being pushes the ones she loves and cares for away.

"So, do you come here often?" Meghan startles for a moment as she gestures to Dylan if he is talking to her, while point to herself. "Yes, you!" For a spilt se ons Dylan's smile causes the entire shop to go still and fade away. It's both magical and familiar. Almost like home.

Meghan blinks twice to make sure she ain't dreaming. And try to reply with but it seem like her words just can't make it to her mouth. All she can do is nod her head yes.

"Why haven't I seen you around?, I'm sure I would have recognized those eyes!" Meghan can feel her face turn red almost immediately, she try's and brush it off "there is nothing extra ordinary about my eye. I think they rather average and brown, maybe I would have fallen for that reply if they were blue or green!"
"I see we still so cheeky!" Dylan grin "Excuse me do we know each other?" Meghan's confused. Where did she meet this man, surely she would have remembered him.
"Maybe in a different life?, anyway let me introduce myself..." Dylan takes Meghan's hand. "I'm Dylan, Dylan Manson." "Meghan" as she pulls her hand away.
