The afternoon’s sun was high in the sky when they were searching through the diaries for any wish Ray had left unfulfilled. But there weren’t any. They had almost lost hope when Rui spotted something in one of the pages, showing it to Iku who sat beside him.  They both looked at it, and shared a glance.

“Did you get something?” asked Reina, looking between their knowing glances.

“Let’s see what it says,” said Reina as she looked at the page. “’I want to make a rocket and send it to spaceeee~~!!’ Ray, where are you right now!?” Reina yelled as she read his one unfulfilled wish. Ray stood beside Kakeru, silently watching the proceedings slightly concerned as Kakeru pointed him out. Reina walked over to the place Kakeru had gestured to.

“I will kill you later,” said Ray, glaring at Kakeru.

“A rocket. Are you serious!?” Reina started yelling.

Ray looked away. “It was my childhood dream.”

Reina looked at Koi, whose face had changed slightly on hearing Ray’s words. “What did he say?”

Ray looked at Koi, as if he was telling him, ‘Don’t you dare say anything,’ but Koi didn’t meet his eyes, and instead repeated what Ray said. And then he proceeded to hide behind Hajime.

Ray gave Koi a death glare, and Koi shivered from behind Hajime.

“The point is, how are we supposed to make a rocket!? Obviously we can’t make a real one, so we’ll have to make one from fireworks,” said Reina.

“Ah, you guys are here!”

Everyone turned to see two people walk towards them.

“Shu and Aira, you guys came, I can’t believe it,” said Reina with a sigh of relief.

Naruko’s smile had a hint of sadness to it as she looked at Aira. Ray looked at all of them, feeling a complicated mix of sadness and joy.

“Reina and Naruko too. It’s nice to see you both again,” said Shu, taking a look around. His eyes landed on each member of Procellarum and Six Gravity. “And you are idols. I wonder what you are doing here.”

“They are here with Ray,” said Naruko.

“Oh yeah, I remember now. Yuki was saying the same thing.” He looked around at everyone and shook his head. “C’mon guys, stop saying stuff like this. Do you still believe in that nonsense? That people come back after they are dead?” Shu laughed and walked away, but his smile was strained. Everyone watched him as he left, and Hajime sighed.

“Now, how are we supposed to make a rocket?” asked Haru. Everyone was lost in thought for a bit.

“What if we buy one instead?” asked Koi.

“Hmm… I don’t think that will work, because that idiot brother of mine wrote that he wanted to make one,” replied Reina. Ray stood near the tree where Yuki and Shu hid, both of whom had an ear on the conversation happening.

“Is someone there, Ray?” asked Shun as he realized Ray had been standing there for quite a while.

Ray nodded. “Yeah, just two stray cats here.”

“Stray cats?”

“Yuki, Shu, come inside! I know you’re both standing there,” said Reina. They glanced at each other and then came out.

“Ah, why are you so good at these games?” said Shu.

“Seeing as you heard everything, I think you do want to help us out?” asked Aoi hopefully.

They stood in silence for a bit. “You left us with no choice but to help you. I know someone that would help you build a rocket for your poor lost Ray, Reina,” Shu said, mischief in his voice.

Ray was staring at Shu like if he was alive, he would have kicked him as hard as he could.

“Then we’ll go there tomorrow and start working on it. Since it’s almost night,” said Kai, gesturing to the setting sun, “We need to rest.”
