Another week went by without Mark noticing it. The days sure went fast, especially when Mark would sleep at daytime while nights only were meant to Donghyuck.
Byeol was still minding her own business, sometimes showing affection to Mark, but as soon as he kindly pushed her away, the girl would go and do something else. She didn't complain even once, although Mark was sure she knew that there was something wrong with him. Well, Mark was glad that there were no arguments between them. He didn't want to be kicked out again.
Mark could tell that their relationship was near the end as he didn't want to be intimate with her anymore. They were living under the same roof, sleeping in the same bed as Byeol was still his girlfriend yet he felt like he would be forced if someone asked him to touch or kiss her. If someone told him about this situation weeks back, Mark would think they're insane — he and Byeol falling apart? How?
His mind only had Donghyuck in it. If Mark lost any kind of intimacy with Byeol, he was using it on Donghyuck all the time. The siren was the one initiating most of the touches, but Mark minded neither of them. They started by holding hands, then Mark would get a little peck on his cheek which was slowly going closer to the human's lips.
The second kiss happened unintentionally. Donghyuck was singing as usual but Mark kept gazing at the siren's lips, hardly focusing on the song. He didn't know what was happening in his head. He just really wanted to kiss the boy.
And so he did, he didn't even realize when he kissed the siren. Donghyuck was taken aback but returned the kiss after a second. They kissed so passionately that they even fell on the sand. Mark was supporting his body on his hands, his lips moving against Donghyuck's. The siren's arms were wrapped around Mark's neck as if he was scared that the human would pull away.
After that, they kissed more.
They had greeting kisses that were so passionate it left them breathless while a goodnight kiss was something sweet and sad, knowing that they had to part their ways. Needless to say, Donghyuck was a very good kisser. Guess he learned from one and the best Mark.
"Show me the way to your cave," Mark whispered into Donghyuck's ear once, just as they finished making out.
He knew where the cave was as one day he went out of there himself. But he felt like the way he said it sounded better, more exciting.
Donghyuck's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm.
"Do you want me?"
It was hard to believe how such a simple question could make Mark have a hard time breathing. He nodded as he was sure he wouldn't form a proper sentence.
Donghyuck's face brightened and he took Mark to the cave. They were holding hands on their way, which made Mark feel goosebumps but in a good way. This time the human wasn't drugged with pheromones and could do most of the things himself. Mark loved being the one in control when those things came.
They sat down and continued the same thing they finished before but still craved to start it again. They kissed, moaned and touched each other's bodies until Mark realized that he couldn't hold himself anymore.
Mark got the privilege of taking off Donghyuck's clothes himself that time. He got rid of Donghyuck's striped shirt and leaned to his neck. The siren was a panting mess, but the volume of his voice increased when Mark began sucking on his skin. Donghyuck clenched Mark's shirt and threw his head back.
He seemed to be impatient. If there was the case, Mark didn't want Donghyuck to wait. If Donghyuck wanted Mark that much, Mark was ready to give the siren what he wanted.
Mark fully undressed Donghyuck and then began stripping himself. The sight of the naked siren was something Mark didn't know he needed. Donghyuck was beautiful, almost like a personification of art. Mark had no idea that he would be attracted to someone else's body as much as he was to Donghyuck's.
