Emiko's pov:

In middle, 6th grade

I was walking down the hall of my school. When I see a group of three girls walking towards me.

"Oh no" I say. They have been bulling me since elementary. Becky one of the sides, Veronica the other side, and Rachel the leader.

"What's up you little bitch" Becky says. "I heard what you did, talking with Oikawa like he's boyfriend. Well he's not. He's mine and if you ever talk to him again, you better have a death wish" Rachel said.

"Well, he's not my boyfriend, we rarely talk and the only time we do is if he needs help with home work" I say.

"Oh, so you want to talk back. Ohh ya and I hear that you wanted to try out for volleyball. Well that's never going to happen, because your to weak for in, it's for boys anyway. You can't enter by being smart." Rachel said.

"Oh, I think there is and ugly contest going on outside you should go win it." Veronica says.

I just stood there, when I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I suddenly felt a hand push me down. I could hear the girls laughing at me, but I still just sat there and cryed. Soon the girls walked off.

I got up, but then heard someone else crying. I follow the sound, to find a girl around my age just sitting there crying. She had black hair and black eyes.

I walk over to her, to see if she's ok. She looks up at me still crying.

"Hey, are you ok" I ask her, putting my hand out to help her up. She grabs my hand, so I can help her up.

"I am Emiko Pendragon. What's your name?" I ask her "I am, Astrid Oikawa" she says. " Wait, are you Oikawa Toru's sister" I ask her "ya, I have some fanboys sometimes, but I hide a lot, I don't really like to much attention" she says.

"Oh, wow. Ok, why were you crying?" I ask "some girls came by and made fun of mefor wanting to play volleyball" she says.

"What!? That's what they wade fun of me for too" I say.

" Hey wanna go outside and practice" she asks "sure" I say

We end up becoming Best friends andnow a couple of years have passed I am 14 and so is Astrid.

We are going to our first year at Aoba Johsai. So is Astrid's brother Toru and I got to know more about him but he is like weird around me and just doesn't hang around me much, but I have a new chance at this school and I am going to take it.
