Berlin: I'll see you again. *squeezes hip*
I walked out and made my way home. I was still contemplating what my stance was with Berlin. Did I want him? I would never betray Rico again, and the saddest part is that I haven't even confessed my initial betrayal to Rico. I loved Rico with all I had in me, and the very thought of him leaving me scares the living shit out of me but, never mind that. I finally got home and I was greeted by the giant love of my life pacing excitedly at the doorway.
Y/N: Hi baby. *stands on tip toes for a kiss*
Rico: Hello beautiful, guess what?
Y/N: What?
Rico: Dontai just invited us on a double date with him and Danielle.
Y/N: Really! When baby?
Rico: In about 2 hours.
Y/N: 2 HOURS????????? How the hell am I supposed to get ready with JUST TWO HOURS?
Rico: Oh babe it won't take you that long.
Y/N: *runs upstairs*
I ran upstairs like Sonic the Hedgehog, I had to make sure I looked my best because I know that Dontai and Danielle were going to look their best. The most exciting part however was the fact that Dontai and Danielle were such a couple inspiration for me. They were so patient with each other, and the way they interacted was so natural and calm, you could tell they were soulmates. It was like their spirits living with each other in a cloud, and their love was a never ending river that they both routinely drink from, even when they are frustrated with each other, or when the other does something to piss each other off, they don't over react or get annoyed, they simply go to the cloud and wait by the river, a truly beautiful aura they exude. The fact that Rico and I get to go on a double date with them is most definitely one of the highlights of our relationship.
I had finally got ready and was prepared to head out. We hoped in the car and started to drive to the restaurant, this time Rico for the first time, drove with his driver's license, which made this night even more monumental. We arrived at the restaurant and oh my goodness, we had money but not that much, hopefully Rico and I had enough.
Rico: *whispering* Ok listen I don't care what's on the menu, we get chicken tenders and fries.
Y/N: *laughing* And water.
Rico: Exactly. Pinkies up too.
Y/N: *laughs* Ok. *walks into restaurant*
Danielle: *waving at us* Y/N! We're over here!
Y/N: *walks over* Hey Dani.
Danielle: Hey Y/N how you doing?
Y/N: Um, I'm surviving. *giggles*
Dontai: What about you Rock?
Rico: Um honestly, I'm just happy bro like genuinely happy. It's all thanks to this beauty right here. *grabs my thigh*
Dontai: That's amazing bro, I'm so happy for you both. Now, the reason I wanted to talk to you two is because we have a bit of a problem sort of.
Rico: Problem?
Dontai: Now don't get excited on me Rock. It's not really a problem but we kind of want to ask a favor.
Y/N: *Rico and I look at each other* What kind of favor?
Dontai: Ok so we're in this... loop. Basically the way it works is you get a product, you sell it, and then the person that recruited you gets ehh 30% of what you make. You know because they are the reason you're there after all. So you have to recruit more people and those people are where you make your money off of, so it's like, a team.
Rico: Woah woah woah, is this a pyramid scheme?
Dontai: Did you not just hear me? I said it's a team.
Danielle: You don't have to if you don't want to but, I mean, wouldn't it help?
Dontai: Ok bro I don't want to overwhelm you or anything so, just sit on it. Ok?
Rico: Yeah bro I don't know.
Dontai: Listen bro, anything you guys want is on me. No questions asked. *pours Hennessy in our glasses* But for now a toast, to blissful relationships.
Rico: Wooo now that something to toast to.
Everyone: *toasts*
We had an amazing time with Danielle and Dontai, we joked, gave each other advice and ragged on one another for all of our... quirks. The majority of the night was filled with happiness and joy but I couldn't help but to think back on the very reason he invited us out there. Was Dontai trying to set us up, or does he genuinely believe that we could sell the products? I knew Dontai and I knew that he was not a nefarious guy at all, maybe this is the extra push we need. When we got home I decided to have a talk with Rico about it.
Y/N: So babe what do you think about that whole pyramid scheme thing?
Rico: I think it's a stupid waste of time.
Y/N: Baby we may need it at some point though.
Rico: We may not be stacking but we don't need no damn pyramid scheme.
Y/N: Yeah I guess you're right.
Rico: Anyway, let's not ignore the fact that I got some Hennessy in my system, and damn you look good.
Y/N: That's something I could never ignore. *kisses Rico*
