Dear diary,
my name is Riley. Riley DeLuca-Bishop. I got this book from my tia Andy, she told me that it's good to write about your feelings if you don't want to talk about them. I started HighSchool today and it's been good. I mean I don't really know anyone except for my best friend Zola Shepherd. Zola and I have been friends since we were young, we met at the daycare of 'Grey-Sloan memorial hospital', it's named after Zola's aunt and a man, named Mark Sloan. They apparently died in a plane crash, at least that's what Zola told me. That's also where my mama works, she's an OB/GYN. Her name is Carina DeLuca. My other mom is the captain of station 19, her name is Maya Bishop. They adopted me when I was 4 years old, that was ten years ago.
I also met a girl today, she's beautiful. She has long brown hair and the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Her name is Sofia. Sofia Robbin Torres, to be exact. She just moved to Seattle. We talked for only a few minutes but I've learned a few things about her:
1. her favourite candy are donuts
2. she loves pizza and chocolate
3. she has two moms too, they're working at the hospital. One is a pediatric and fetal surgeon and the other one an orthopadic surgeon.
4. she's from Seattle but she and her moms moved to New York when she was younger, I think I knew her before. Probably from the daycare too, since her moms worked at the hospital before they moved away.
5. she never kissed anyone and she never had a boyfriend
6. Zola knows her, they're friends and they've been for over 13 years.
That's all I know about her, but I want to know more, I think I kinda have a crush on her.
