chapter 3.

When Zola woke up the next morning, she looked to her left and found Riley and Sofia asleep close to each other, Sofia had one arm wrapped tightly around the other girl and Riley's head rested on her friends shoulder.

Zola quickly snapped a picture and decided to let the other girls sleep a little longer. She made her way into the kitchen, seeing her mom and Addison already awake.

"Good morning mom. Morning Addie." Zola greeted them before making herself a glas of water.

"Good morning sweetheart." both of them answered at the same time, making Zola and each other laugh.

"Are Sofia and Riley still asleep?" Addison asked.

"Yeah. Look at this picture." Zola said, showing them her phone.

"Aww that's cute." Meredith said smiling.

"Yeah." Zola replied, putting her glas in the sink and going back upstairs.

She decided to wake up her friends. She went over to the bed and gently shook Sofia awake. Sofia stirred and slowly opened her eyes, blushing when she saw the position she and Riley slept in.

"You wake her up. She's always grumpy in the morning." Zola laughed, making Sofia roll her eyes. She gently shook Riley awake trying not to startle her.

"Hm..." Riley mumbled. She opened her eyes and cuddled further into Sofia, not realising it was her.

"Oh sorry." she apologised as soon as she realised what she just did. Sofia just laughed. Riley quickly got up and made her way into the bathroom.

"Is she okay?" Sofia asked Zola.

"I think so. She's probably just embarassed." Zola giggled.

"Yeah well. It's cute." Sofia replied blushing.

"So you like her." Zola stated, not even waiting for an answer before breaking out in a fit of giggles.

"Yeah. Shut up. Of course I like her." Sofia told her childhood best friend, who's still laughing at her.

"You should ask her out. It would be fun if my best friends were dating." Zola said bluntly and Sofia just stared at her as if she was a ghost.

"You can't just ask someone to go out with you Zo, I don't even know if she likes me too.
