I was awoken by shouting and screaming I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see what was happening my mom was down on the ground crying
"Get your bitch ass up" he screamed as my oldest brother tried to help he took moms beatings and then pushed me and mom towards the stairs
"Get back upstairs I got it" he smiled at us sadly we went unwillingly I heard stuff breaking and yelling between Issac and dad
"Boy get your ass out of my house"
"This shouldn't even be called your house asshole you don't do shit for us" slap I heard silence and breathing then I heard glass breaking me and mom went upstairs scared for our safety well I had to pull her with me
"Charlie go check on your siblings I'll be in your room" I nodded and went to Dayna and Arem's room Dayna was on her bed crying
"Is Issac going to be okay?" I told her yes because I don't really know
"I wish everyone was happy instead of yelling and arguing" I felt bad for her since she's only 6

She grabbed my hand and I held it we looked over towards Arem who was crying I walked over to her crib and picked her up
"Hush it's okay baby it's okay" I rocked her to sleep and put her back in her crib
"Is mommy gonna be okay?" Dayna asked me while wiping her eyes
"I don't know baby let's hope so" I grabbed her and gave her forehead a kiss and pulled her to my chest "try to rest I'll take you and Arem to the park later" she smiled and laid down I left the room but not without locking the door
I went to my oldest sister's room they looked away from their game they were playing
"oh hi little bro" Arina looked at me and smiled "hi"
they were playing uno
"ha I win" Nessa cheered while doing a dance
"what the hell are you talking about you cheated"
Arina looked up in disbelief and crossed her arms
"It's not cheating if you know how to play" Nessa shrugged and Arina groaned
"let's play a different game" Arina suggested and Nessa agreed
I walked out of their room and while everything was kinda quiet minus the shouting I made my way back to my room which I shared with Tristan
"You okay?" He nodded and we looked over to mom who was sleeping peacefully in my bed
