Meeting the Best Friend

No One's POV

The group was sitting at a table as all of the children were now eating dinner at the orphanage. They were surrounded by children as they were also filling up all of the tables. Rose was telling stories and jokes to the children as she sat next to (Y/N), who was eating quietly. When they had finished the driver, William, and (Y/N) were given a room as Rose and Tiffany were given a room where their beds were on opposite sides of the room. Rose was now dressed in her sleep attire for her to be sleep pants and a shirt. Tiffany saw Rose's abs when they were getting dressed to also see that she got just as lucky with her bottom half as she did with her chest. Tiffany looked down at herself as she was nowhere near as big, "Life is cruel." Rose's ears perked up as she looked at Tiffany, "Did you say something?" Tiffany quickly responded, "It was nothing."

Tiffany got in her bed for her to look up at the ceiling, "Today was eventful." Rose nodded as she got under her covers, "Yes it was. Playing with all of those children was fun." "They were adorable, and I haven't seen (Y/N) that happy in a while." Rose raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?" "Well (Y/N)'s been so busy that he hasn't had much free time. So it was good to see him having fun." "He was having fun?" "Yeah, couldn't you tell?" Rose shook her head for Tiffany to sit up and look at Rose, "I know that (Y/N) can look quite scary, but he's actually a big softy. Just watch him closely and you'll see." Tiffany then laid back down to close her eyes leaving Rose to ponder.

The Next Morning

Rose woke up early to leave her room dressed in her maid uniform. She aimlessly walked around until she found what seemed like the office to the lady running the orphanage. She was sitting in a chair crying as (Y/N) was standing in front of her desk. Rose's fur on her tail and ears began to rise as (Y/N) said, "I didn't mean to make you cry ma'am. I-" The woman shook her head as she wiped away a few tears to smile, "It's okay. It's just a little overwhelming is all." "Just consider it a donation for your generosity." Rose moved to look past (Y/N) and see a suitcase full of cash on the desk. Rose's eyes widened from all of the money to make the floor under her creak. She quickly back away before she was spotted by the other two and ruined the moment.

An hour later the small group was ready to leave for the entire orphanage to see them off. They all waved goodbye with smiles as the carriage drove off. Everyone in the carriage waved goodbye, for Rose to spot (Y/N) smile as he was waving.

A Week Later

The carriage arrived at a large city as the buildings went high up into the sky, the sidewalks were crowded with people walking to where they needed to go, and carriages covered the streets. Rose looked around at everything in amazement until the carriage stopped in front of a tall building. The four got out for Rose to notice a lot of people staring at her, human and hybrid alike. (Y/N) stood next to her, "Stay close, it's easy to get lost in the crowds." Rose nodded for her to stay close behind (Y/N) as William stood next to Tabatha making sure that he stayed close to her. They walked into a building to go up to the fifth floor through an elevator.

They were met with a very busy room, as humans and hybrids alike were rushing around as all they could hear was people talking and rushing around. Rose was confused as she did not know what everyone was doing or where to go. William, Tiffany, and (Y/N) were walking through the room with ease avoiding anyone that was coming by, as it seemed like they were walking in random directions to Rose. She stayed close to (Y/N) until they were in front of two big doors. They walked in for a man with spiky black hair, grey eyes, and white skin to greet (Y/N) by jumping towards him, "(Y/N) it's been too long!" (Y/N) side stepped for the man to hit the wall. He rubbed his head to look back at his friend in anger, "Is that anyway to greet your best friend!" (Y/N) turned to him, "You jumped at me! Anyone with common sense would move out of the way!" As they were screaming Rose looked around the room for their to be a really long and wide table in the center with plenty of chairs, as the room was decorated with some paintings and flowers.

She stopped looking when she heard the new man's voice, "And who would this be?" Rose looked at him to bow a little, "My name is Rose. A maid of (Y/N)." The man smiled to turn his head to (Y/N) with a sly smile. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow, "What?" His best friend was then next to him, "Bringing a woman with you as you traveled for days huh?" (Y/N) had his arms crossed as he clenched his arms, "William and Tabatha were also with us." Rose held up a finger, "Excuse me but, who are you?" The man turned to Rose, "Right, I should introduce myself." He extended his hand to her, "The name's Nate. (Y/N)'s business partner slash best friend." Nate then turned to his sister and friend, "Now, they'll be here any minute. We need to get ready." The two nodded for Rose to quickly walk up to (Y/N), "Explain what is happening again." (Y/N) responded, "Today we are having a meeting with some potential other business partners who have their own businesses. One of them wanted to meet in their mansion, but I thought it would be best if we met in my building." Rose took in everything, "Ok." "Now if you need anything or feel uncomfortable please let me know." He then sat at the far end of the table with Tabatha sitting to his left, Nate sitting to his right, and William standing to his right behind him. Rose quickly stood behind him to his left for her eyes to widen, 'Wait... His building!'
