Some people were born into this world for a reason and some were born and just exist. Right now, Y/n didn't even feel like she existed, meaning she didn't feel like anyone thought she was of use. But, once she proved she could be a hero then they'd recognize her.

Days turned into weeks and yet barely anyone in the class saw her as a hero. Little by little, her world, her hope, diminished and the once bright flame of hope that flickered in her soul was now a desperate ember trying to keep its grip on a dull hope that one she be an admiral hero.

No one seemed to notice her solemn attitude or her sorrow brimmed gaze, they never did pay any mind to her sudden decrease in enthusiasm. Yet, the ever dwindling flame strained to spark new hope in the girl. Her high and gentle spirits were no more as she was now laden with guilt, sorrow, and dejection. She never laid the fault on anyone else though, because even though her moods dimmed, she cared an awful lot.

One particular day, when that minuscule ember had put its all into her, she was smiling like before. Until the flame started increasing in size, invading her soul. The flame that's overtaken her wasn't that desperate little spark, it was a new fire. A blazing fire that raged and coursed through her being, running amok her mind. It sparked a new presentiment, her future didn't have to be molded be her hands, it just had to be formed to fit her.

Maybe that's what true cognizance meant.
