MONTY DEHAAN IS MISCHIEF, mayhem, and trouble. Chaos oozed from him, and yet, no one had ever caught him setting up any epic pranks. That said, however, it left the blame to befall upon two of his friends, and the Weasley twins were determined to find the mastermind behind the practical jokes they'd received detentions for if teachers saw them amidst the students as the prank played out.
They weren't mad, more envious, as all George and Fred wanted was to find this ghost and beg them to teach them their ways.
Monty thought he was unstoppable. But when you're wrangling live chickens into the Great Hall, it gets a bit difficult. So when he finds himself face to face with two identical faces with matching shit-eating grins, he can't help but sigh in annoyance. Though five years and no one catching him in the act was a massive achievement, and even more when Professor Lupin found them and left without so much as a warning.
His mother always laughed at his antics and tricks, proclaiming he was much more like his father than he realised. But Monty didn't have any references as he hadn't ever met the man. He had long since forced away those feelings of longing to know where he came from or what his father was really like, other than a jokester, which was all his mother said about him.
As if exam years are not difficult enough, it's brought forth answers to questions that he's never felt the need to ask, as well as the questioning of his sexuality and the most life-changing transformation of his life. Oh, and a mass murderer who is somehow hell-bent on getting into the castle to target him, of all the damn people.
If his fifth year was a shit show, it's just Monty's luck that his sixth and seventh will certainly be mental also.
