(Setting: your new job is at Cognito Inc.)

    FUCK! I thought to myself Im going to be late on my first day at work. As soon as I finally got there J.R was there to greet me and he was with someone else. „Nice to see that you showed up (y/n)!" J.R said. I laughed nervously „yeah sorry about that" I put my attention to the girl he was standing next to, she looked tired and kinda messy but pretty attractive. „This is Reagan, and Reagan this is (y/n)" J.R said. She gave me a small smile and looked me up and down. After a second she finally said something. Thank god the silence was killing me. „Hi..follow me" she said sounding kinda annoyed. I'm going to guess she got forced to do this. Oh no..
      So this is cognito inc. wow theres a lot more...creatures? Monsters? I'm so confused. Reagan noticed my expression and made a comment „so you've never seen things like these before? Why did J.R really hire you? Are you a spy? Are you working for the Illuminati? I want answers!" I was sweating so nervously I thought I was gonna drown, but then I turned around and there was a...mushroom? „Jesus Reagan your going to give the new worker a heart attack." she gave a disgusted look at him and grabbed my hand. She took me to her office
    We both stared at each other, every second felt like on million years until... „who are you?" she said. What? „Um what?" I said. Is she feeling ok? „why did you really want to work here?" she said. Oh. That. Truly the only reason i'm here is to make my parents proud I can't be a failure to them, I just couldn't. I didn't want to tell her the truth and said „because I wanted to do something interesting with my life, it was pretty boring before this so I wanted a change". She smiled and looked down. Wow now that I realize it, I think I might have a crush on her. I wonder what she would think.
    „Hey, let me show you my „friends". She made little quotation marks with her fingers. She's so cute. My face turns as red as a tomatoe. She noticed and looked away. Finally she brought to an office (a/n idk what the place is called lol) There there was 4 different people. A girl who was taking selfies, a guy who was playing with a rubix cube, and a guy and the mushroom thing from earlier making some sort of...chemical?
   „Team, meet our newest member, (y/n)," they all looked up, then exchanged looks and went back to what they were doing. I was kinda hurt to be honest I frowned and look down. I started figeting and Reagan noticed. She also frowned and looked at everyone and then looked back at me. She told me „don't think about it to much there always likes this..well with me anyway" Oh. Dang I didn't know I was going to be working with assholes. Welp I hope that me and Reagan get more alone time because of this. I started daydreaming of me and Reagan and irl Reagan snapped here fingers near my eyes. I snapped out of it and looked at her. „Hey let's get out of here and go to my office" she said. I smiled „sure"
   (1 hour later)
  „And that's how I won first place in the science fare" she said „wow thats really impressive!" I gave an excited giggle. She looked at me and said „Wow...I've never told anyone these stories before. You must be a special person" she gave me a smile and started writing in a notebook. Aw her pen has fuzzy end and had hearts all over it. I wanted to keep the conversation going for a bit longer so I said „That's a cool pen, wear'd ya find it" she stopped writing and said „my mom" and continued writing. My smile faded. I feel like something bad happened between her and her mom. I checked the time and saw I had an hour left for my shift. I realized she never showed me my office. „Hey! You never even showed me my office, I should fire you because your a bad tour guide" I said sarcastically.
    She giggled. I smiled. „Oh sorry about that guess I'll do that now then". She put her notebook in her bag along with her pen. She took my hand and showed me my office. It wasn't to far away from hers which I thought that was nice. „ here it is, pretty boring right?" My face beamed. I've never had and office to myself before I finally looked and her and said „I think it's lovely" she gave me a confused and surprised expression „dang and I thought I was corny" she teased. I gave her a small punch and laughed, me and her play fought for a minute then I did the unthinkable. I kissed her.
   „Ah! I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean it." Im regretting my decision so much and then I look at her. She isn't mad or disgusted. She's smiled? „Wow, I've never had someone kiss me like that before" what does she mean? Does she not absolutely despise me because of what I just did. „Are you gay?" I said. Dang, I literally just asked if she was gay. I really am corny „something like that, to be honest I've never been a good dater but I think you really changed my mind, so what you say (y/n), do you want to be my girlfriend?" I look up, I'm in awe. Her? Asking me? I never thought in million years this would happen. I smiled to the point my lips were basically touching my ears. „Of course" I say „I would love that" then I pulled her in again and kissed her again.
