Chapter 3

Recap:

"um how much is it to bail someone out?"

- Lauren's POV -

"1,000 dollars ma'am"

"okay, thank you so much" I smile and leave the jail.

Perfect, I have about $2,000 saved up. I know what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna bail out Jason.

- Jason's POV -

I lay on my back on my uncomfortable bed starring at the ceiling, for some reason I couldn't get Lauren off my mind.

Getting interrupted by my thoughts by the guard yelling my name

"McCann" the guard tells

" It hasn't been a week yet" I groan and look at the guard

"no that's not it, you've been bailed out" My eyes widen

"Bailed out?" I say , shocked.

"that's what I said" he says as he unlocks my cell and let's me out.

When I leave the cell I look down the hall to see Lauren.

"Lauren?" I said, a slight smile in my face

"Hi Jason" she replied smiling

"you- you did this for me?" I asked, looking straight at her

"yes, yes I did" she smiles

I run towards her, give her hug and spin her around as she laughs.

I put her down still hugging her with a big smile on my face

"Thank you so much Lauren" I said pulling away from her

"your very welcome" she laughs a little

"we'll I guess we can go now" I smile as I take her hand as we walk out

"wait, I have no house to go to" I say stopping in my tracks and look at her

"really? oh, you can stay at my house, I live alone anyway"

"you just bailed me out of Jail, I can't take that offer too" I say still looking straight at her

"Then where would you stay? I'm not gonna let you live on the streets. Come on your coming with me"

I groan as she pulls me down the street "fine, only for you" I smile a little

"that's what I like to hear" she smiles and kisses my cheek

I smile in return as we walk to her house .
