Wrath's POV.

I woke up shivering, as it was way too cold down here. Even though there was a blanket under me, I couldn't even use it because of my hands, I felt so weak.

I sat up leaning on the pipe behind me and brought my legs to my chest, for what little warmth I had left. I placed my head on my knees, as I tried to get the littlest of comfort out of this new position I was in.

My eyes shot up when I heard a door open and soon the lights came on, my eyes adjusted and it was Faust. He carried a small vintage-looking clock and some food, although it didn't look appetizing in the least bit.

He didn't say anything till he was in front of me, "Here's your reward." He placed the clock next to me, it read 3 pm.

'At least I can keep track of the time now.'

He then placed the food right next to me and went over to his table.

I lost my appetite just staring at the 'food', I'd rather starve than eat, as I also didn't know what was in it. To me, not eating this possibly drugged or poisoned food was the best option.

Faust turned to look at me and then threatened me, "If you don't eat what you're given, I'll take that clock away, Wrath."

I knew I needed to eat this, I didn't want to lose my one way of keeping track of time.

I spoke up and gave Faust a smart remark, "How do you expect me to eat without my hands?"

"I'm sure you'll figure that out, Wrathie" He was cold with his words, as he turned back to his table.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, I already knew how he wanted me to eat as any animal would eat.

I laid on my side and started to eat to the best of my ability, I heard light chuckles coming from Faust, he knew what he was doing. I ate slowly and took my time savoring what little food I was given.

Once I was halfway done with the food, I started losing my appetite and my mouth felt so dry.

After a minute or two, I started to shiver badly even though I just started sweating and started to see the room warping all around me. I immediately started to question what was in the food, as it was the most likely cause of whatever was going on right now.

I called out to Faust, scared of what was happening, and got no response from him.

I shot up and backed up to the pipe as it was now the only thing tieing me to reality. Severe anxiety took over my body and I started to see delusions in the warped room.

I called out for Faust and pleaded with him to make it stop, I started to sob, terrified of everything. Tears streamed down my face and my breathing picked up.

I panicked at my loss of reality and the fact I couldn't feel the pipe behind me anymore, made it worse.

I shut my eyes tightly and trying to pull myself back to reality.

-----

I opened my eyes and saw a beautiful field of blue and purple flowers, the sky was green which was odd.

I looked left, then right, I wasn't in that crummy basement anymore from what I could tell.

I looked to my now free hands and got up, I stood with no issues.

'What is going on? Wasn't I just in a basement?' I questioned my sanity.

I walked through the pretty field, not understanding what was going on, but I didn't care. I walked aimlessly till I spotted a large tree.

The tree was black, it looked dead and frail, compared to the lush flowers around it.

I approached it curiously and sat at the base of the tree. It was surprisingly calm and relaxing to sit against.

After a long time of just sitting there, I started hearing loud sobs emanating from the black tree and stood quickly. My eyes started to tear up for no reason at all.

I looked to the land around me shift slowly and the flowers all looked black and dead, just like the tree. The ground below returned to mush and a deep red liquid started flowing from the tree.

I started to get scared and slowly backed away from the tree. It all felt way too real, for me and I ran away from the tree terrified.

I fell when I tripped on something and I looked at what I tipped on.

Only to see a white ink-like hand latched onto my ankle. It grew from the ground and formed a skeletal-like creature, although it looked twisted and deformed. I tried to get up and run but it was useless, as its grip was too tight.

Its face had a twisted smile on it as it dragged me back to the tree. I started to panic and tried desperately to escape its hold of me, and instead, it grabbed me by my throat and threw me at the tree.

My throat felt numb as I looked at the tree and white hands came from the black tree, trying to grab me.

Eventually, one of them managed to grab me and I pleaded for whatever was going on, to stop.

My cries and begging didn't stop anything, as I was slowly dragged into the tree and blacked out.

-----

My eyes shot open and my breathing was heavy.

'What hell just happened?' I started to question the reality around me.

I quickly darted my eyes around and realized I was still in the dark, decrepit basement.

I laid down and looked at the clock in front of me, 2:34 am. I tried desperately to calm myself down but nothing worked. My chest tightened and breathing became more difficult for me.

I broke down into tears, terrified of everything and anything in the room. Even the ticking of the clock scared me a lot.

I tried to sit back up but felt too weak and unstable, so I curled into a ball of my unstable emotions.

I whimpered out Faust's name a few times, just wanting some human contact, even if it was from a deranged murderer.

The door opened and I saw Faust, I begged for him, calling his name several times through my uncontrollable tears.

He sighed and sat in front of me and spoke rudely, "What is it, what do you want?"

My voice trembled as tears rolled down my face, "Please...stay...I-I'm scared."

He scoffed and got out, "What a joke."

He was just about to leave when I shouted, "Please! It hurts!"

He wiped around and asked, "What hurts then?"

I spoke in a panicked manner, "M-My chest...I-It feels like I-I can't breathe..."

It wasn't a lie, my chest felt like it was tightening every second and it was really painful.

"Shit, it could be...Damn it."He mumbles to himself as he went over to his table. All I could do was stay in a ball and cry, as he worked quickly on something.

"Shit...You gave him the wrong amount, Faust...You're such a fucking idiot!" He was talking to himself and threw his stool across the room out of anger.

I flinched at his sudden outburst, 'What does he mean the wrong amount? Wrong amount of what?'

The pain started to ease up, going nearly numb and I started to feel really cold, through my cold sweat. I started to cough from my dry mouth only to notice it was blood I was coughing up, as all I could taste was the metallic taste of blood in my mouth.

Dream rushed over to me with a needle in hand, "Georgie, I need you to say as still as possible, if you don't want this to hurt more."

He rolled up the sleeve of my shirt slightly and quickly inserted the needle into my shoulder. My coughing made it hard for me not to tense up when he gave me the shot, so it was extremely painful for me.

He let out a sigh of relief and I slid down, now laying down on my side. I passed out due to the overwhelming amount of stress I undergoing and from whatever was in that food.
