SHE BENT ME

When we were young

Little Jungkook, Nayeon, and Jennie went to the mall with Mr. Jeon. The Manobal family (Pranpriya, Chitthip, and the 2 translators) happens to be at the same place with them.

"Let's go to the amusement arcade!" little Pranpriya cheered.

Chitthip just agreed to her daughter's request.

"Min-a, you guys go ahead. I'll follow any minute," Seung-Gi said while checking something in their car in the mall's parking lot.

"Okay," Min-a said and they headed to the amusement arcade upon Pranpriya's request.

Upon their arrival at the amusement arcade, Pranpriya immediately rushed to the dance machine while Min-a followed her.

"Pee Sao (big sister in Thai), I want to play this," Pranpriya pointed at the dance machine and Min-a swiped the game card. The game has started and little Pranpriya stepped onto the platform of the dance machine.

The dance machine's platform consists of 4 arrows: up, down, right, and left. There's a button at the center as well.

"My daughter really loves dancing. She always wanted to incorporate herself anything related to dancing," Chitthip said to Min-a.

When the song started she perfectly hit the notes in the first two seconds and messed up in the rest of the song. She hopped off the platform.

"I don't want it anymore, I'm not good at this," Pranpriya exalted a disappointing sigh.

Both Min-a and Chitthip chuckled.

"I bet she will be a tall person when she grows up, madame," Min-a said.

"Certainly, she got long legs," Chitthip agreed.

Pranpriya saw a claw machine filled with stuffed toys. She saw a little girl playing with it, slamming the machine for not getting her teddy bear. The little kid is frustrated and Pranpriya wanted to help her but she doesn't know how to speak Korean.

She looked at Min-a talking with her mom and didn't bother to disturb them.

She went close to the claw machine and swiped the girl's game card and played.

"Hey! How dare you! That's my game!" the little girl with mandu cheeks yelled at Pranpriya while she just ignored her yelling.

Pranpriya clawed the teddy bear's ear and it made the little girl beside her stopped yelling.

"Cool! Closer! Closer!" the little girl beside her cheered.

Pranpriya pressed a button to drop the clawed teddy bear and went onto the drop-off bin.

Both of them squealed with happiness.

Pranpriya pulled the teddy bear from the bin and offered it to the little girl.

"F-for me? Are you sure?" the little girl asked but Pranpriya didn't answer, she glanced at Min-a who's currently on the phone while her mom is waiting Min-a's phone call to end.

Pranpriya turned to the little girl again.

"Are you Korean?" the little girl with mandu cheeks asked and took the teddy bear in Pranpriya's hand. Pranpriya just staring at the little girl not saying anything. 

The little girl pouted. "I guess you don't speak because you don't understand me and my words," she sighs. "Thank you for the teddy bear anyway, sorry for yelling at you," she gave a smile to Pranpriya and it made her smile as well.
