3rd Person Pov:

With it now being the next day, a day to get rid of a criminal, and a day for the princess to get married to the man she thought she knew, when really she was being gaslighted.

Without knowing it, both Five and Y/n stared at the sun rising, neither of them slept the night before, for the chaos that had happened.

Five was hoping that Y/n was safe and away from Scott, while Y/n was worried about Five. Hearing footsteps both of them looked up, for Y/n she got up and went towards them, "Five?" she was hoping.

But instead was Scott, her desperate smile faded. As for Five, he only looked for there to be 2 guards again waiting for him, for his death. He knew he'd die eventually, but never like this.

"Y/n I've been so worried about you.." Scott said hugging her, she knew that he was lying, but she played along with it and hugged back saying nothing.

"Where is he?.." she asked quietly looking down, "Where's who?" He asked trying to play it off, "You know who.. Where's Five? And I want the truth-" she said, Y/n already knew the answer. But she wanted to see if he'd tell her.

"He.. is paying for what he tried to do to you, he almost killed you. And took you away from m-" before finishing his pity sentence she pushed him away.

"Don't even try that on me! I know what you did and you're not getting away with it!" She let her breath go, that she didn't know that she was holding in until now.

"Five never once tried to hurt me, not once.. And this is what he gets in return?" Scott did and said nothing, instead he ignored her and left. When Y/n wasn't able to see him in the distance anymore she didn't know whether to go where Five is, or hope that he's ok right.

Five's Pov:

When I woke up earlier I noticed that David was gone, was he dead? I sat on the floor, it was cold and everytime I thought about it more it's like it would keep getting colder.

I heard footsteps, I didn't want to look up because it would be someone I hated right now. Practically everyone but Y/n.

"Someone's here to see you-" I heard the guard say, it was probably the handler, she was the only one who would be a someone to see me. Just to rub it in my face that I failed, "Five you're ok-" I heard her voice say.

I lifted my head up seeing Y/n, I got up going over to the cell door. Her fingers wrapped around my hands, her grip was tight. She was scared, and she knew what was going to happen to me.

"Y/n don't worry about me, I want you to get as far away from here. Now-" I said, "Is.. Is it true?" She whispered looking at me, with the look of disappointment and sorrow, I knew what she was talking about.

"Yes.. And I'm sorry, but I didn't want to kill you the second I met you-" it was true, every chance I had I couldn't do it.

She didn't say anything, "Y/n, please.. say something" I said softly.

But she shook her head with tears forming in her eyes, "I know that either way, we would never had meant to be together. I'm a nobody, but you.. you're a princess Y/n. You have a life ahead of you, a family, a home, and so much more. But me.. i-it was just.." I stopped, it hurt knowing the person I had become, how much I changed.

I held her hand tighter looking down, "Promise me, you'll leave here" I said. "Five, it's a wreck out there. I-I can't," it surprised me that she responded the way she did. I thought she'd hate me, or want me dead, but she really meant what she said, she really did love me.

I reached into my pocket and placed the ring that had somehow been with me this whole time, she opened her hand a little and then looked at me, "Go now-" I tried demanding, but it wasn't my place to tell her what to do. "You're not dying, and I'm not getting married to him-" that reminded me when she said that.

"That's not David, Y/n. That's his twin, Scott." She stopped and looked at me, "What?" I nodded slightly. "I get if you think that you don't believe me but Y/n please I need you to go" I kept trying everything I could to know she'd be safe and alive, but this time she agreed with me and then left.
