All Too Well (Childe x Lumine)

Turn 3

LUMINE POV

"Hey Girlie, Hold Still" the man who grabbed me said.

I knew who it was. 

It's him.

It was the person I was looking forward to meeting here. 

He removed his grasp from my arm and his hands on my mouth. I let a sigh of relief escape. I was about to turn around to him when he hugged me from behind. I was flustered. Is he really like this before? It's been years since I last saw him.

"Childe." I said for him to stop hugging me.

"Just for a minute," he replied softly. I let him until Paimon spoke out of nowhere

"Hey! I am here!" she said angrily at what she is seeing

We both look up to see she was there the whole time, hiding on the big tree too.

He stopped hugging me and laughed cheekily, I frowned in confusion why he did that.

"What was that about?" I asked him, waiting for an answer that I would like to hear from him but he said I was cold because of what I am wearing. Yeah right, I am. I lost my coat during the chase. And now I am left with my white dress. I shivered at the cold temperature of the nation we're in right now, it was like we were in dragon spine but much colder. 

I was flustered as he began to remove what he was wearing in front of me. I closed my eyes and covered them with my hands. I don't know if Paimon did it too or never mind. I felt how he came closer to me and place something warm on me. I opened my eyes and it was the black fur cloak he was wearing. He fixed it in me and said "Why did you wear such thin clothes here in Snezhaya? You're really a lot of work."

I apologized because I realized I should've worn better clothing than this but it's not my fault that my coat was lost, or is it? 

He went down closer to my face, he looked into my eyes. My cheeks started to feel hot. He was closer to me than ever my heart beat fast. I closed my eyes as I was expecting something to happen.

But he patted my head and messed my hair up.

I opened my eyes and look at him annoyed with what he did.

He offered his hand and said, "Shall we go, comrade?"

But I refused his hand and just followed him. We went walking for a while wherein there's no people around. He showed me beautiful places in his hometown. He bought us food and that made Paimon happy. He helped us lookout for the teleport points in the area for easy travel. He looks like a good travel companion just like Paimon.

I watched him talk happily about his experiences and memories here. I smiled listening to him. His voice echoes in my head.

In this barren cold city, I watched the snowfall as it fall slowly on us. Without knowing I walk towards him and reached out my hand on his hair to remove the snow. 

He looked at me with caring eyes and silence befall us. I can only hear the glistening of the snow.

CHILDE POV

"Shall we go, Comrade?" I said as I reached my hand for her to take. But she refused to hold it. From that point on she followed me as I showed her beautiful places in my hometown. I told her stories I never told anyone before. I feel so happy that she was here with me. I feel so complete. I treat them with delicacies that they can't find elsewhere in Teyvat. I also helped her look for the teleport points so she can easily travel here as she wants. I became her travel companion for the day.

It's already near daybreak as the snowfall slowly. I reached out my hand to catch the cold snow. I felt someone coming closer to me and it's her. She reached out her hand towards my hair, probably to remove the snow that landed on my head. I felt my heart beating fast. I look at her and she stood there stopped what she was doing. Silence befalls upon us and you can only hear the snow. 

I smiled at her and I held the hand that she used to reach out to me and pulled her for a kiss.

I thought to myself that if I did not do it today then I will not be able to in the future. It's all or nothing.

She seemed flustered but she closed her eyes and gave in to my kiss. My hands were on her waist and head to support her.

It seems like time stopped while we did that. I pressed my forehead on hers as we are both breathing heavily from what happened.

"Hey, What are you two doing?" Paimon said after she returned from picking food nearby.

We removed our self from what we are doing and became shy with one another after that happened.

"Nothing." She said as she ran towards Paimon. 

I smiled as I watched her shyly leave.
