*Sherlock's letter to Jess*

{A week later}

My dearest Jessica,

I have been brought to the camp that I will be mainly based at, I have already seen the causes of the war; the men wounded and the fear of many things in their eyes. I go to fight in the field tomorrow. The other soldiers are ready to fight and are filled with bravery. Them being confident as well as keeping you and the baby in mind, so am I. I am having bravery in this situation, and I am ready to fight. It is hard to have strength though, in a different place than normal. But I promised I'd come home to you. And i always keep my promises. I want you to keep yourself and the baby safe. Don't forget my mother and father are just next door and they are more than willing to help. Get some rest and relax, I'll be home with you soon. I love you.

Your loving husband
