you were sat in your brother's house, he was getting ready to sell his daily supply of drugs and alcohol, as usual. is that all he can possibly do with his life?
"barry you gotta stop with this kind of shit. it could ruin our lives." you warn him.
"i know sis, but it gets us the money we need, if i didn't sell this shit we'd have barely any income. we'd be completely broke." he replies.
"i get it, i do, but can't you just get a normal job, that couldn't get us in trouble, like me?" you question him.
"listen, i'll get my money my way and you can get your money however you like, besides i've got the pawn shop too it's not like this is all i'm doing. you're 17 nearly 18, soon enough you can do whatever you want with your life. like me." he finishes.
"whatever, i'm going out, barry. i seriously cannot deal with you today." you reply.
"okay princess, be home by midnight." he says sarcastically.
"love the nickname, suits you better though, drama queen." you snap back.
"get out, y/n." he says sternly.
you loved barry a lot, he's your brother, of course you love him. but even with his bad reputation and shitty life, he'd make sure you were always okay. he did a lot for you.
as you were walking out the door, you bumped into a tall male figure. you look up to see a very attractive boy with light brunette hair, in curtains parted right down the middle perfectly.
a strong smell of drugs and alcohol wafting into your nose as you breathed. exactly the type of person your brother would hang around with.
"move out of my fucking-" he starts, but cuts himself off as he looks at you.
"oh hello, princess." he says smirking down at you, he was at least six foot, and you were only five foot four.
"hi?" you reply, smiling sweetly. "rafe cameron." he says still smirking as he kisses either side of your cheek.
"right, okay. nice to meet you but i'm not a kook, don't worry about greeting me fancy." you chuckle as he keeps direct eye contact with you.
"i mean- you're right, i could've greeted you differently, but is that the right way to greet a beautiful woman like you." he says laughing at himself.
"aw.." you started, until you realised. he was being sarcastic, showing off to absolutely nobody. "haha, very funny, cameron." you say annoyedly.
he snorts in laughter. "so what's a WoMaN like you doing around here?" he asks sarcastically.
"well, i was just leaving actually. thanks for your concern, see you, rafe cameron." you say back. "what's your your name, love?" he asks, seeming genuinely curious.
"you know, i think BeAuTiFuL wOmAn suits for now.." you tease. "whatever!" he says rolling his eyes and opening the door to yours and barry's home.
"rafe, mate. stop fucking shouting i can hear you from in here and you're not even through the door yet!" i hear barry yell as i walk away.
rafe cameron.. huh? where do i recognise that name.
*rafe's pov*
"yo, barry. who's that hot chick? i ask, pointing at the girl i met literally a few seconds ago. "HoT cHiCk? bro, that's my sister you're talking about!" he spits.
"dude, since when did you have a sister? you could've told me how hot she is!" i say, still shocked. "sister, rafe. sisterrr. i'm not going to be telling you how 'hot' my sister is." he shakes his head at me.
"besides she's not fucking hot she's an ass, and also i'm not from alabama." he chuckles. "she's so fucking hot, bro." i laugh. "she's only seventeen, dude. don't be weird" he says.
"i don't really care, bro. anyway i'm nineteen, that's probably not even two years difference. when is she eighteen?" i ask him.
"in like two months, and don't you even dare think about it." he warns me. "exactly, so that ain't bad. it's basically nothing." i smirk at him.
"you're not dating my sister, besides you wanna catch a case, bro?" he snaps at me.
"you telling me they'll arrest a nineteen year old for dating a 17 seventeen old? haven't they got more important things to worry about?" i groan.
"i don't know, will they? you tell me, you're the child predator by the sound of things." he rolls his eyes at me. "ha, you're funny. what's her name?" i bring her up again.
"i'm not telling you her name." he says, rolling a blunt. "come on just tell me." i continue asking. "fine! y/n, happy?" he tuts. "hot name too," i smirk.
"you're not dating my sister. ever. i won't allow it end of conversation," barry yells. "ugh whatever, can i have some?" i ask as he lights his joint, takes a hit, then passes it to me.
