Florida - May 11th, 11:18 PM
Dream sat there on the edge of his bed, his leg bumping up and down with anticipation. His phone was rested at his side, waiting for that one message that could turn his whole life around. He came from a misfortunate family. His father had left at a very young age, too young to even remember. His mother passed when he was seven, leaving dream and his sister in the care of their aunt.
His room was pitch black with only the light of the moon beaming through his white transparent curtains. Dream could feel his heart racing a million miles an hour as he waited for his phone to light up. He had applied for a university in Michigan late last year and only heard news recently that the enrolments would be announced tonight. He wanted this more than anything, to start new, to be able to venture in the world on his own.
'Come on..' He growled as the clock on his bedside table showed '11:21". He rested his head in his palms, running his hands through his hair back and forth. Dream was a very smart boy, but never used it to his advantage. He would rather stay inside playing video games or go out playing basketball with his friends Nick and Bad.
Beep Beep
Dream lifted his head and grabbed his phone in a split second, his phone lit up his face as he faced the screen. But only to ruin his surprise the message read "Sapnap". Dream sighed and threw himself backwards onto his bed, placing his phone on his stomach.
The moon had grown higher in the sky as he began to grow even more impatient. Dream laid there for a while, his eyes glued to the white roof above him, before he was interrupted by a knock at his door.
"Clay?" Came a soft and humble girls voice from the other side. He raised his head to the sound of his younger sister and picked himself up off his bed, making his way to his door. When he opened it he was met with a much shorter dirty blonde haired girl with beautiful green eyes. "Heard anything yet?" She said as she was met by her older brother.
Dream's expression was dull and cranky. He was running on 4 hours of sleep and hadn't slept for 23 hours. He let out a soft sigh before shaking his head in response. The girl, known as Drista, gave him a slight nod before continuing. "Maybe you should get some rest, it will take your mind off of things" She said before giving him a soft smile, later vanishing down the hall way leaving dream to his thoughts.
While the two siblings were in conversation, Dream hadn't noticed that his phone which had been turned on silent faced down on his bed had received a certain notification.

London - May 21st, 9:37 AM
George set his glasses down on his dresser as he went to pick up a box in the corner of his room. His whole room in fact was just boxes, only his bed, dresser and bedside had remained.
"George!" A very discerning voice came from down the hall. His mother was on edge this particular day as George was leaving his parents home to move into his new dorm at his university. George had stopped in his tracks, half bent down to pick up yet another box to move to the hallway. "You better hurry up, your flight leaves in 3 hours" His mother screeched out as he heard clanging of dishes from the kitchen.
George let out a loud sigh before making eye contact with the box he was so close to picking up. He was excited, thrilled actually to get out of his parents house, finally.
He was 24 and only now is he moving out. He never had a good relationship with his parents, his father would always criticise him for every time he wouldn't bring a girl home, or wouldn't get above 70% on his tests. 'Mate, I've only seen you with one girl your whole life, and she was your prom date' His dad would say to him time and time again, and his response would be 'Gee... Thanks'.
As George moved the final box to the hall, he turned to look at his very dull and bare room that he was to leave behind. He never really had many friends in London besides Wilbur, he needed a fresh start and he knew that Michigan could provide that.
He flicked his light switch to his room off and closed the door behind him, leaving a chapter of his life behind, ready to start a new one. As George walked down the hall with his box, he was met by his father who had two boxes, one under each armpit. He was greeted by a simple nod, before his father made his way through the kitchen and out the front to the car. George felt his heart sink a little bit, his father was always like this, always discerning.
"George" His trance was broken as he turned his head to be greeted by his mother who had come from the kitchen. She was around 5'5", which wasn't a lot shorter than George as he stood at around 5'10". She had dark brown hair and blue eyes with a great big beauty spot on her upper lip, she was beautiful. George had gotten his mothers features with his fathers eyes, with great long eye lashes. "All done?" She said, grabbing the box out of George's arms, turning back to the kitchen to make her way out to his father.
George grabbed the last box before following after his mother to the packed car. "Yep, all done" He responded behind her as he struggled with the weight of the wooden box. When they got to the car and the final box was loaded, George was met with hugs, words and tears, mostly from his mother. After one final hug, George turned to the car to be driven by his father to the Airport (He doesn't know how to drive) and got into the passengers seat, leaving his mother on the other side of the door.
As George sat there, he unknowingly picked at his finger nails and bounced his leg up and down. He was nervous? He was excited? He didn't know. The drivers door flung open and his father stepped inside, sitting at the wheel. George looked up to be met by dark brown eyes staring right back at him.
"You ready son?" His father said with a faint smile on his lips. George gave a slight nod in response, just like what his father does to him and was greeted by a husky chuckle before the car slipped into drive.
