"George Marcus" The professor had called out from his lecture, sparking George's response.

"Here" he said loud and proud, drawing eyes to his direction and a few whispers and snickers from his peers. He looked around at all of the people who had reacted and let out a soft sigh. This was his fourth class of the day and he was exhausted. Every time he'd answer a question or say something, he'd be judged, probably because of his accent.

The professor went on down the list until it got to a certain name.

"Dre- Dream Byrant" He read. 'Oh for fucks sake' George thought. It was hard enough that he had to share a room with him, but having the same classes as him is crossing the line.

"Here" He said... but it rose laughter in the class.. because he said it in the most dorkiest, idiotic English accent George had ever heard. All eyes landed on George again, causing George to sink into his seat.

"Alright that's enough" the professor snapped, moving onto the next few names. George looked up to where the familiar voice came from. He was at the second last row, surrounded by students who were gawking over him... His arms were behind his head with a smug look on his face. George wanted to slap his face so hard that he'd never be able to show that stupid smirk ever again.

Suddenly, George's eyes were met with green. Dream was staring right back at George who quickly turned back to face the front. 'Ah dammit' George thought to himself as he gripped his pencil in his hand 'He saw me looking'.

.

Dream sat at his desk with an eyebrow raised, yet again he got a rise out of George. He liked how easy it was to piss him off.

"So is your name really Dream?" The girl sat next to dream said, her elbow on the table and he heard in her hands. She looked like she was a dog and dream was her treat.

"Um.. yeah it is" Dream responded with a smile. The girls around him looked in awe as the guys murmured to each other.

"Yo that's so fucking dope" One of the guys said, tapping Dream on his shoulder. Dream felt a jolt when the man touched his shoulder and turned in his chair quickly grabbing the mans wrist. "Woah... calm down" The guy said, taking his hand back from dreams grip.

He sat there, everyone around him looking at him in confusion. "You alright?" The guy who sat next to Dream said. Dream could feel his heart beating in his chest. Why did he just do that?

"Yeah.. sorry man" Dream responded, looking back up at the guy he had just grabbed. The man shrugged it off and walked back over to his seat. Dream quickly looked back to the front of the lecture, embarrassed by his actions. All of the noise and confusion made must have caught the professors attention, as he was staring straight at Dream.

"Can I move on?" He had said, directed at the group as a collective. Everyone around Dream nodded, forcing the professor the continue writing on the chalk board at the front.

"So.. where are you from?" The same girl next to him said, this time closer, she must have moved her chair in while Dream was fixated on something else.

"Florida" He said, getting a big response from all the girls around him.

"Wow! I've always wanted to go to Florida" The girl said, moving even closer this time. Dream chuckled uncomfortably before saying

"It's nothing special... just colder I guess" He said, causing the girl to laugh or well, fake laugh, trying to boost dreams ego. He wasn't interested in her, or let alone any girl who was surrounding him at the moment. Sure Nick and he joked and talked about how they could both get girls at their Universities but it just hasn't crossed Dream's mind the past 2 weeks.

.

The rest of the class went on for what seemed like forever but George had taken at least 4 pages of notes by the end of it.

He made his way out of the lecture hall and into the courtyard where everyone was sat either reading, studying, chatting or eating. George wasn't interested in interacting with anyone at the moment after what had happened in class, but he still wanted to enjoy the scenery. He walked over to a free table and placed all of his belongings down, opening up his laptop to a textbook the professor had given them.

A few hours go by and the courtyard started to become less and less crowded as the sun started to go down. George finally completed the chapters he wanted to review and packed up all of his belongings. Before he closed his laptop he checked the time which read '7:15PM' "Jeez" George said to himself. He'd been here for a while.

When George got back to his dorm, to his surprise, Dream was actually there, on his bed, reading a book. He quietly shut the door behind him and placed his backpack on his dresser, unpacking a repacking for the next day.

This had caught Dreams attention as he laid his book on his stomach and watched George unpack. George could feel his eyes on the back of his head... deja vu, and turned to face Dream.

"Can I help you?" He snapped, he was done with Dreams attitude and just wanted to go to bed. Dream slowly shook his head, still staring at George. George scoffed and turned back around, placing his old books on his dresser and his new ones in his bag. "Are you proud of what you did today?" George said, he wasn't afraid to hide his annoyance in his voice.

"Eh.. I didn't really do anything to be proud of... oh.. wait there was this one girl-"

"Seriously?! You're such a dick!" George spurted out, his fists clenched at his sides. Dream got up from his current position, sitting on the side of his mattress.

"I'm flattered" Dream responded, smile on his face. George gripped the edges of his dressers, leaving nail marks in the wood.

"I've had a shit day" George said between gritted teeth. "And I'd appreciate it if you could drop the bullshit for once" He finished, now facing Dream. Their eyes met and for a split second Dream felt his stomach drop. Guilt started to rise in his chest.

Before Dream could respond, George shoved the rest of his books in his back and threw it on the floor next to his dresser. He grabbed his clothes and walked into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.

Dream sat there in silence, shocked at how upset George really was. He liked it when he and George had little banter, but now Dream thinks he'd taken it a bit too far.

'Shit' He thought.
