CHAPTER 2

Tweek's P.O.V-

Something awoke me that night and I wasn't sure if it was terror or the lack of coffee that I've had recently. No... something was outside my window. At first I thought it was just my paranoia but this time I knew there was something outside!
"M-mom!" I yelled and a few seconds later my mom was at my door, and from what I could see she was still sad about something.
"Sweetie, it's midnight. You should be asleep." She said in a soothing voice.
"The-there's s-someth-thing outside." I whispered but loud enough for her to hear me. She tiredly walked across the room and looked out my window. I was slightly hoping that she would see something but at the same time I didn't want her to see anything.
"There's nothing out there Tweekers," she sighed, "this is going to take some time getting used to. After a while you'll make some new friends I promise you. Who knows? You might even see some of your school friends here like Stan and Kyle?"
Stan and Kyle... I haven't spoken to them for a while. Eric continues to harass me with bad names and punching me at times and nobody even cares. How could I consider that group my friends anymore? They are all off on great adventures and they all have girlfriends (who keep breaking up with them) and all that good stuff.
"M-mom?" I stuttered as I looked into her sad eyes.
"Yes?" she replied with a faint smile.
"I l-love yo-you." I stuttered and I smiled back as I saw her face fill with a somewhat happiness. All I want is for her to be happy again, I hate to see her sad.
"I love you too Tweek, and no matter what happens... I will always love you." She said and gave me a kiss on the forehead before leaving the room.
Just as I laid back down to fall asleep my window slowly opened and my whole body involuntarily shot up.
"AH! Th-they've c-come to GAH! murder m-me!" I yelled and two shadows crossed over my bed and landed right next to my bed. "Wh-who's there?!"
"We're here to rob you so you'd better shut up you little spaz!" One of them ordered and I silenced myself but I couldn't help but twitch.
They went about taking stuff from my desk and rage began to boil inside of me. Why weren't my parents coming?
A light went across the room to the two and I saw them taking something very important to me. It was a picture of my old friend who chaned my life forever.
"AH! D-don't you dare t-take th-that!" I yelled and the two turned around and looked at me and I could tell that behind their masks they weren't too happy.
"Why not? We can take whatever the hell we want!" One of them snickered and I could hear my mom and dad come into my room.
"Who are you?" My dad demanded and my mother gasped in horror.
"Shoot!" They both said in unison as they rushed out the window. Luckily, they didn't take the picture but the glass had shattered on the case.
My mother and father came over to me and began to stroke my hair and tell me everything was okay.
Everything wasn't okay.
Someone could've gotten hurt!

AT SCHOOL

"Did you hear about the robbers that have been going around recently?" Some girls were asking each other near their lockers. A lot of other people had seen them too and I was still paranoid because of the whole thing.
"Yeah... they robbed my neighbors house a few days ago. I was so scared I convinced my parents to get an alarm!" Another one added dramatically.
"Oh look..." Another whispered and the three were looking at me as if I was a walking trash bag. Without hesitation I hurried away for class early.
These halls always scared me, they were so long and lonely with all sorts of odd pictures on the walls depicting the human anatomy or animals. Today these halls seemed even longer than before and I kept on thinking back to that picture.
"G-gosh da-darn it D-Deon..." I stuttered as I thought back to my friend and how weak he looked as he laid in that hospital bed.
The bell rang and I knew that if I didn't hurry I would surely be late for class which I can't stand.

***
"Tweek!" Somebody called from across the hall.
"AH!" I shrieked and let out a slight sigh when I saw that it was just Kyle.
Wait- Kyle?
"Tweek, I need you to do something for me. It's really important to the school!" He pleaded happily and I was surprised that he'd even approached me.
"Wh-what i-is it?" I asked.
"We need you to fight that kid from third grade again. He's been bragging that he can beat anyone who approaches him but we saw how good you beat him up last time. Well, you guys... never really finished the fight... so we were all wondering if you could do it again?" Kyle rambled and I just stared at him, unsure what to do or say.
"GAH! L-let me th-think about i-it." I said before rushing off to class without another word.
"Tweek, you're late!" The teacher scolded and everyone began to giggle slightly at my startled face (not like I ever have any other emotion than that), "Do you have a tardy slip?"
"AH! N-no miss..." I said shamefully and she pointed to the door so I could go get one.
Oh goodness, I've never been to the office before! What if I get lost? What if I get attacked again? What if I take too long?!
"GAH! TOO MUCH PRESSURE!" I shouted and pulled at my hair as I hurried along.
Surprisingly I found the office rather fast. I entered slowly and made sure that I didn't disturb anybody. Of course my twitching bothered everybody but they all ignored it.
There was a short line to the desk and I stood at the back. The door opened again and someone was soon right behind me.
"So this is my opponent?" The person behind me whispered and I looked back to see Craig.
He was taller than me and his black hair was swept almost over his right eye. He still wore a blue beanie and blue coat as well as black jeans and black shoes. His expression was still emotionless. Nothing had changed with Craig and that made me feel like I was still in elementary school.
"I-I don't wa-want to f-fight y-you." I whispered back to him.
"Why not?" He asked.
"GAH! I'm w-weak an-and sm-smaller than y-you." I pointed out and he looked me right in the eyes. His were so deep blue and it was almost like getting lost in an ocean...
"Tweek?" The lady at the desk asked impatiently and I realized that I was supposed to be at the desk.
I felt a blush on my face as I walked up to the desk. Afterwards, I dashed to class and thought about how embarrassed I was. What was I thinking? People didn't just stare into somebody's eyes for that long!
