Marceline gave me a wink and went inside to help ice king with the dating items. It seemed like forever but they came out and he looked very happy.
Marceline gave me a wink and headed off by the area where we were going to have our date.
"So uh," he got all nervous,
"Let's go"
I smiled, "you seem nervous, don't be. I won't bite."
He smiled and grabbed my hand. I blushed at the touch of his hand on mine.
Everytime he touched my hand, I felt like I was remembering something. Someone with me that was my lover. I ignored it and moved on. We walked over to the hill where marceline was.
"I'll be home. You guys have fun."
Marceline hide behind a bush so she could spy on us.
Ice king winked at Marceline because of a plan he made with her.
He got all the Picnic stuff ready and asked me to sit down. I sat down smiling at him.
"So, what princess are you?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"Well, hehe yea. Ice princess." He said blushing
I smiled at his shyness.
"You put a lot of effort into this."
"Oh, yea. I'm a cool guy, if you catch my drift."
He laughed and I laughed with him.
I was looking down at the time but I had a feeling he kept looking at me.
I blushed, "why are you staring at me?"
He smiled, "you remind me of someone, someone who I cared about a lot and loved."
I smiled not knowing who this was,
"I feel the same about you."
Marceline saw where this was going and smiled. She knew Simon was still in there, looking for betty.
We both looked into each other's eyes.
He leaned in a little.
I leaned in, slowly.
