It's your average winter day in valley forge, fucking cold, I can't stand it. Laurens is out in the snow probably getting shot in the shoulder again, while I'm laying under a blanket trying not to freeze my ass off. I really hope Laurens is okay... The thing I'd want least right now is for him to die and me not to be able to save him.

'Thank God he's alright-' I think to myself as I see Laurens walk into the door. He throws this jacket on the floor, he seem aggravated?
"Good afternoon, Laurens" I slowly sit up and mumble. "Mhm- good afternoon, Hamilton" he smiles slightly and sits on the bed. "So what's up-?" I question already knowing the answer. He glares at me before saying the same thing he's said for about a month now "It's fucking cold and I have to command a bunch of lunatics-..!" Chuckling slightly I pat his back "I'm sorry- if you don't want to fight just do what I do". Horrible advice to give to someone like Laurens.
"I want to fight you dumb ass- and I'm not going to pretend to be asleep so Washington won't make his son fight.. besides it probably won't work for me-"
"Don't call me son-" I hiss and punch his shoulder.
"Ow-! Fuck off that's the bad shoulder"
"Oh shut up, you know you love me-.."
Suddenly I feel my face flush a light pink as I slowly look over at Laurens who just seems to be rubbing his shoulder 'did I punch him that hard-?' I look around the small room and hear him blurt out something. "Man you've got a strong punch, Hamilton-" He giggles a bit and looks at me. I giggle too- not really paying attention to him, just trying to figure out if he noticed the blush starting to form on my face. "W-well- uhm we should get to sleep-?" I mutter trying to change the subject.
He nods and and we cuddle up under the blanket and slowly falls asleep...
