I laugh at her text and respond

I look over and see nick still fast asleep he looked peaceful usually nick seemed a bit on edge but he was relaxed I lay back in the bed and look at the ceiling

I walk into the Milkovich home to see my brother sitting on the couch with his son I smile at the sight "yev!" I cheer picking my nephew up "auntie mindy!" The child smiled the two year old boy put his head on my shoulder "so there back?" I ask my brother "yep with everything going on with dad they can't stay in the house dad bought for lana" mickey said "also lana was so upset about what happened she wanted to be here" mickey added I smiled knowing lana and I had always got along it meant alot that she cared so much for me I sit on the floor playing with yev while Mickey played video games when I get a text from lana

I say bye to my brother and nephew and put yev back on mickeys lap and went to meet lana "hey lana" I say sitting across from the girl "hey mindy" she replys "I need to tell you somthing about your father" she says I nod "he had bought me and when we where fucking he called me your mothers name" she said hurt in her eyes "I will tell court" she tells me "you don't have to" I say not wanting to push her "I want to...for you" she says "thank you lana" I say tears in my eyes she gets up and we hug
{Few days later}
We have been meeting with my lawyer and terry might get out on parole because he didn't actually do anything to me he almost did but didn't "fuck so he might be coming back" carl says as we sit in a bathroom stall selling guns "ya my brothers made me talk to cops for nothing!" I complain "also terry is gonna kill me if he gets out" I tell carl "he isn't going anywhere near you" carl says putting his hand on my thigh a kid walks in wanting to buy a gun we sell it to him and he leaves after giving us the money "terry lives by snitches get stitches" I say "I'm so fucked!" I say throwing my head back "I'm here I'm not gonna let anything happen to you" he says pulling me into a hug we hear the bathroom door open and pull apart we sell another gun we had a good day of selling we where gonna stay in that bathroom for another hour we sat there my head on Carl's lap as he played with my hair moving away everytime we hear the door open I get a text from mandy
Mandy👯‍♀️-I need to talk to you now! Please come home asap!
Mindy-I'm on my way....are you ok?

I explained to carl what was going on he told me to go and he would finish up the day I ran home quick I went straight to Mandy's room "what's wrong?" I ask my older sister "sit down" she tells me I close her door and sit down on the bed "I never thought I would have to do this but I can't let terry get out of jail" she tells me and I look at her weird "mindy when I walked in on him trying to get at you it sent me back it made me feel like I didn't protect you" mandy says "mandy-" I try to talk but she interrupted me "mindy it it made me have flash backs" mandy says "he mistaked me for mom too" she said and my heart sank "but no one walked in and stoped him" mandy said tears burning in both of our eyes "mandy I'm so sorry" tears slip out of my eyes I pull her into a hug and we both cried into each others arms "I'm gonna testify in court" mandy says "he is gonna be put away" she adds we had to tell our brothers we all sat in the living room mickey and iggy having no idea what was going on but they knew it wasn't good because of how mandy and I where acting we where holding on to eachother mandy explained and iggy looked like he was shot "it is all my fault!" Iggy said looking down "I should have been here!" Iggy yelled "I failed at being a big brother" he said "it is my fault I was here and it still happened!" Mickey said "it is no ones fault but Terry's" I say
