J.A.R.V.I.S

A/N: this is definitely not timeline accurate but it fits better with my story so don't be mad please🥺

Morgan's POV:

It's been five years since dad sacrificed himself to save the world I was nine at the time and didn't fully understand so I was angry at my dad for leaving mum and I alone but as I got older I began to understand that it was the only way. It's dads birthday tomorrow so I'm gonna try and get J.A.R.V.I.S to work again we haven't been able to get him to work since dad died. Dad was gonna show me how to work everything when I was eight but mum said that it was too dangerous so we bugged her for like a month straight and she finally agreed but she said that we had to wait until my tenth birthday but then Thanos happened a year later and dad never got the chance to teach me. I have tried to get J.A.R.V.I.S to work before of course. When I was ten I tried for three months straight but then I gave up so now I try every once and a while and since it's dad's birthday tomorrow I decided I would try again. Brie wants to help which is nice she is great company and the only one who still believes that I can do it, at first everyone was on board trying to help out and telling me that they believed in me but one by one they stopped and started to tell me to just move onto something else but Brie always says I can do it and that I just have to keep trying.

So I was just finishing off some work I was doing on a prototype when Bruce walked in

"Hey Morgan what ya doing?" he asks

"Hey Bruce I'm just finishing up this prototype then I'm gonna give J.A.R.V.I.S another go"

"cool I was just wondering if you've seen my notebook I'm pretty sure I left it down here"

"umm yeah I did see it earlier actually uh where was it...oh yeah it's just over there on that table," I say pointing to the notebook on the table

"Thanks, Morgan I'll get out of your hair now," he says walking over and picking the notebook up

"Thanks see ya later"

"yep good luck...oh and can you tell your dad happy birthday for me tomorrow I have a mission so I probably won't get a chance to see him," he says

"Yeah I'll tell him"

"Thanks, Morgan see ya"

"see ya," I say and he leaves. Then ten minutes later Brie walks in.

"hey peach," she says walking in

"Hey Brie," I say lifting my head to look at her and she smiles

"Okay, so I brought snacks, drinks, and your dad's favorite cd," she says

"Thanks, Brie you're the best"

"I know," she says jokingly and we both laugh

"sooo what ya doing?" she asks

"just finishing up this prototype," I say

"YES finally I'm so excited for that one," she says jumping up and down like a child which makes me giggle. Then a few minutes later I finish

"there finished," I say then lean back and sigh contently

"yay can we have a hot chocolate break now?" she asks with her best puppy dog eyes.
